Vince's Cafe — Restaurant in Fremont

We love this place! The food is always freshly made and very good. The sandwiches made to order are delicious. Bread makes a sandwich and the bread here is always soft and fresh. Breakfast sandwiches are available, but you can order most of the rest of the menu (except the lunches, hot and daily specials which are still being prepped) in the morning.

We have been going here for many years. And even when my kids, (who are now grown men!) come home to visit or during college breaks, this is always one of th he places they want to visit.

In the morning when they open they are fast which is very important for us. Lunch can take a longer as some days they can be quit busy. It's still worth the wait.

The sad thing that always catches me by surprise is that they sometimes close during winter/school vacations and that tends to be when I have kids that want to visit there......but I have kids so I understand why they want to take a break during a downtime for the local businesses and to spend time with their...

I travel all over the bay area every day for work and I'm always looking for good local breakfast spots. So far in my experience Vince's Cafe is easily in the Top 3. It's nothing fancy, it's just good food. They got good Chefs at this place.

Their Breakfast Burrito is in 1st place for me. It's a good size, has a bit of everything, tastes great and it's very reasonably priced. That's all I want in a breakfast burrito.

I've also had their basic 2 Egg Breakfast, usually with ham and sourdough toast. It's something I've had at pretty much every breakfast spot I've ever been to and somehow these guys have done it better than anyone else. No special ingredients. It's just really well made eggs, potatoes, and ham.

We loved our breakfast! I haven’t been writing many reviews lately because I don’t want to judge anyone too harshly during these troubled times. I felt like my expectations were exceeded here in several ways. The eggs were fresh, the bacon crisp (as ordered), the skillet potatoes were perfectly seasoned and you just can’t go wrong with toast made with fresh homemade breads! As per the new standards, the social distancing guidelines were in effect and we were pleased to find a nice table outside.
