I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food in my life so when I say this place is the best in Fresno I mean it and I know what I’m talking about. I’ve been coming to India’s Oven for about three years now and I’ve tried almost every other Indian restaurant in the city because I love Indian food and I like trying new places but honestly nothing else comes close to the taste here. The food here has this natural homemade quality that you just don’t find anywhere else. They don’t try too hard by dumping extra colors or unnecessary spices into the dishes like some other places do. It always tastes fresh and balanced.

One thing that really stands out is their samosas. I’m honestly so tired of every other place in Fresno serving the same frozen samosas that are clearly just reheated. You can literally taste that they’re not fresh. But here their samosas are different and you can taste it right away. I’m in love with their butter chicken, their shahi paneer, and their garlic naan too. Every time I eat from here it’s just so good. I literally lick my fingers every single time.

It honestly feels so unfair when I read the bad reviews for this place. So many people leave negative comments just because they didn’t bother to check the menu or the prices before ordering and then they blame the restaurant for something that was their own fault. It’s not fair because this place has kept its quality so consistent for years. I’ve even ordered the same amount of food from other places for almost double the price and it tasted horrible. Here I pay less and it actually tastes amazing.

If I had to mention one thing they could work on it would be the customer service. The people at the front sometimes have a vibe that’s not very welcoming. They’re not rude at all but a simple smile or a little bit more friendliness would make a big difference. Still the food is so good that I always come back and that’s what matters most to me.

I really recommend that people ignore the bad reviews and give this place a real shot. Try it for yourself and then make up your mind. If you actually care about real taste and not just hype you’ll see exactly...

I am punjabi and not relate to them who will give them 5 stars and wrote scripted comments. There is a limit of ridiculous but they the cashier insecure girl cross all the point' liar, fraud and greedy. Some people even cursing her on comments. If you don't speak the language they understand and you are so nice then you will be their prey for tandoor. Yesterday i order plain nans around 9.30, went home open the bag got improperly cooked nans. So i Called back the cashier said they will replace nans tomorrow but i have to save those nans all night like a holy cow lol and bring those nans with me. So today i called, same girl (She works everyday like holy cow LOL) so i told her i want garlic nans and will pay difference. So she said each garlic nans is 1.50, .50 cent extra so my difference suppose to be around $2-3. So i came to the restaurant to pick up the nans, give my card then got charge 8.10. I got rip off. So i asked her why she charged my $8.10 where it suppose to be $2-3. She said each garlic naan is $2.50 not $1.50, so what i could say only "liar" on her face. Came back home open the bag then what? I recently had a family event there and the event went fine but the service was just ok. The owner if the place is really rude, greedy and dishonest person. He didn’t tell us the complete terms and conditions and was making his own rules at the end of the event. I would never in my life go back there. They have lost my business forever. The food was ok but the staff service was below par. The staff asked my friend to give up the plate while she was eating saying that time is up and you need to go although it was 10:30 and we had the booking till 11:30. This was a serious red flag and shows the level to which they serve their customer.
