Me-N-Ed's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Fresno

Always the best in town. This was my 1st visit to this location to eat in. It was new years eve. Around 7pm only 2 other customers were eating in. But you could tell their pick up and deliverys were really busy and they were to close at 8pm. So we ordered our pizza and were told 30min. Wait time . we didn't mind so they gave us a number to put on the table and we sat down at the only clean table in there and waited 45 mins for our cold pizza. Yes colder then if we had it delivered!! I don't mind waiting I love me n eds yes even cold. But to wait all that time and get it cold why? We could have went to the counter and got it our self if they were to busy. Every other me n eds I've been to calls your number and you get it yourself. Hot and sooo good. I was very disappointed it was to late to do anything about it they were already closed and some staff had left. Plus new years eve. And we had plans to. This particular Me-N-Ed's is okay. I came for a birthday party and it seemed like they weren't totally prepared. We had to look for plates which are usually provided. And the other thing that bothered me was they set the pizzas on the holder but it was right over the napkins... For every table. Why in world would you hide your napkins. And then they didn't put out any parmesan or peppers. I'm only saying this because I/we were given that kind of service at other Me-N-Ed's and even for parties that I went to that were held there. This could have been an off day for them but this was my experience. The pizza was fine, the space was clean. It has some arcade games, it doesn't look shabby. So I have a debit/credit card that was issued through my work (money network card with Kirkland's through bank of america - since I don't have a direct deposit account and my company does not issue hard copy checks anymore) I tried to place an order with that card and the employee told me that since it does not have my name on the card (it says "valued employee") he was not able to process my order. This is horrible customer service (i work retail) because you guys will not take a form of payment that is completely acceptable anywhere else I've bought from before. There was no manager on duty at the time which again is completely ridiculous to explain the situation to.
