The Next Bar — Restaurant in Fresno

Very friendly place....great service and the perfect example of a local bar. The bartender paid special attention. I had been there twice. My first stop was for a beer. And because i'm all picky about how I like my "stuff" ... I did briefly explain once how I like my brew delivered. The next time it went there, a different month and the other bartender who was not the one that served me not only knew my name but also knew my beer.... (the same two bartenders were working.... my point is that they took the time to communicate my preferences) I personally am not easily moved or easily astonished, however I was impressed by this simple and old school demonstration of customer care. Good service, decent sound system, clean, slightly edgy and is my recommended...

This place is the bomb! For a small watering hole in a strip mall. It is sneaky big. Looks like a small bookstore and you enter and there’s pool tables pretty good size stage compared to the rest. There is ACTUALLY a stage rather then a area for bands or DJ to set up shop. Staff is great security cool. My only knocks are the bathrooms are basically closets and the lighting is gawd awful. Stage lighting is atrocious (bands bring lighting) and Zero ambiance or mood. No fluency in music. It’s kinda anything goes on whatever particular night....

So stopped by for a beer since I'm on the bus these days due to vehicle being broken but I must say it's a ok spot but very clicking. Unless ur part of the regulars ur not really tended to like the others but they seemed to be so their review will reflect that obviously. So I get it and that's cool nothing off the charts or overtly rude just typical of ur local spot. Would I go back probably not but I'm not opposed to it either. If my car is not repaired soon I might just have to go back and drink my woes away at least for the moment...then I...
