DONUT HOUSE — Restaurant in Frisco

I was in Frisco with my husband and daughter and we were looking for a doughnut shop, saw this one and decided to give it a try. We were not impressed. My daughter LOVES doughnuts, and she didn't finish hers, which is highly unusual. She got a chocolate sprinkled doughnut, which had a little Mickey mouse ring in the middle, a cinnamon bites type doughnut, and a small kolache. She liked the Mickey mouse doughnut ok, but the sausage in the kolache was super wrinkled and dried out. The cinnamon bites doughnut looked good, but didnt have much flavor and had a ton of extra dried cinnamon on top. My husband also got a kolache, he took one bite and his sausage was a tiny little thing, didnt even make it halfway through the bread. (Never experienced anything like that before.) We showed up a little after 9 am, aand there wasn't much selection to pick from. Afterwards, we saw a few other doughnut shops as we were driving on and had wished we waited a few minutes longer and gone to one of those. Also, there was no pricing to be found for any of the drinks. I wouldn't come...

Went in to buy donut for my 3 small children, my 4yr old started to cry she needed to use the restroom. We asked the donut shop to use theirs they said, "No we don't don't do that, no public restrooms." Then we walk the whole Plaza for a restroom, nothing was open, I pleaded to please let me use the restroom i am here to buy donuts. She said "No, sorry no public restrooms, we don't do that, you can't, sorry." I told her it is not for me, can my 4yr old please use her restroom before she pees on herself." She proceeded to smile and say, " No you can not." I refused to give her any business. Even my own neighbor bank will let us use the restroom. Beyond upset that a woman, a neighborhood donut shop, refused a 4yr old the restroom even from a paying local customer. I will NEVER buy donuts from her shop again! And yes she peed herself shortly...

I am extremely particular when it comes to donuts. I don’t enjoy donuts unless they’re light and airy and not too sweet. I have tried all the local donut places nearby in search of the lightest and airiest donut, and I can confidently say these are hands-down the best in the Frisco/Plano/McKinney area. Good donuts are hard to come by, and these are truly heaven-sent! They’re unbelievably light and airy, the texture is almost like cotton candy with the perfect touch of sweetness. You can tell they’re expertly crafted with care and skill. I do not like donuts unless they’re light, and these absolutely met my expectations and were exactly what I was looking for!
