Mirchi Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Frisco

This is a non fancy place in middle of no where but the food is actually good. Don’t expect a great ambiance or too much of hospitality which is common in Indian culture but visit here just for the good food. We tried many options from South Indian to North Indian food but this place never disappointed us so far.

Update 2/8/2024 DO NOT SHARE YOUR PHONE NUMBER with them. They recently created their whattsapp group and added 100s of people there. This is a breach of privacy so you never know what all would they do with your number.

Update 7/29/2023: This is the first time I was disappointed at this restaurant with their weekend breakfast buffet. Firstly it was a small spread of variety and all of us somehow felt uncomfortable after having the food so I am not sure if the food was not fresh. On top of that they charged the same adult buffet price for a 6 year old who just had an idli from my plate.

The front desk staff at the restaurant greeted us with a smile and promptly seated us at a table. The menu offered a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the ambiance was calm and pleasant. However, the service was below expectations.

We ordered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes to accommodate a group member who preferred vegetarian food. While we were nearly finished with the main course, the vegetarian dishes had still not been served. It took almost an hour to receive the crispy corn and vegetable biryani. Upon inquiring with the server about the delay, we were informed that the chef had overcooked the dish and had to start over. Unfortunately, we were not informed of the issue beforehand, which would have allowed us to cancel or order an alternative dish that could have been served sooner.

In terms of food quality, the dishes were a mixed experience. The Masthan Bhai Mutton Biryani looked appealing but lacked flavor, and the meat pieces were tough and rubbery. The crispy corn, on the other hand, was enjoyable.

Overall, the lack of communication regarding delays and the inconsistency in food quality made for a disappointing experience. I hope the restaurant improves its service and ensures better communication with customers in the future. As of now, I would not recommend...

Food that I ordered is amazing, except one minor flavoring upgrade. Ambience is good. Atmosphere is pathetic when it comes to one of the ladies from order taking team.

It was take out order. I am not local. I had 5 long hr drive, wanted to pack some indian food.

I took few bites before I take food out, I wanted to share some review. I was sitting, still munching. I called her, she turned to me, put two steps forward, waited for me to reach her. I got up while eating and approached her to explain, food particles got stuck in throat, so could not speak. She did not offer water, I asked fr it, she pointed me to get from a particular area. She has a zero knowledge of hospitality better look or other job. Doing business and making money definitely important. Value for culture, be a human.

When I visit the city next time, I would like to dine in again as food is really good, only if she is not the owner of the restaurant.
