Been meaning to post this review for awhile. I've tried this place 2 times. The first time was delicious despite delivery taking so long I wasn't aware they used uber for their services. But it was still fresh and hot so I decided to give another try. The 2nd time will be my last ever. I ordered over $40 worth of food and not one dish was edible besides the crab Rangoon. I had to throw everything else away not sure why but there was a slight fishy taste to it. It was late when I ordered or else I would've called or drove back up but they were already closed. I did call the very next day to let them know and to see if there was anything they could do, the manager kept telling me there was no way the food could taste like that and was telling me I'm wrong. He refused to give me any type of refund or to even remake the order for me. I understand I threw it away but there was no way I was keeping that smell in my fridge to return it the next night after I got off work. He was extremely rude and only wanted me to place another order to waste my money. This area is already lacking is good food and service I was actually really excited when this place opened up. I would've been happy to try it again if the manager had actual customer service skills. I would never treat my customers this way, coming from managing in food service myself I'd lose my job if I ever treated a customer like this....
Read moreTo start with the positives, the Singapore noodles were very well and had lots of flavor and ended up being the best part of the order. The Crab Ragoons also came out very nice with a good crunch on the outside and a soft sweet filling in the middle. As for the Hot and Sour soup it was very bland for it being the most expensive soup on the menu, same thing for the Wonton soup that was only slightly better. The Kung Pao chicken had nice flavor but for it being Kung Pao chicken on the menu I was underwhelmed with it being 80% vegetables and 20% chicken, carrots were a bit undercooked and also expected more spice. The flavor was nice just overwhelming with the vegetables. The fried rice was okay just a little dry. Had no issues with customer service just wish it came out a little better for the high price. Hope to come and give it a second try...
Read moreThis is generally good, basic Chinese food. The quality is somewhat variable and some of the offerings deviate from what others do by the same name (for example, the General Tso's Chicken is very different than what I would expect, and not as good, either). The online ordering app lacks important details about the dishes, which has caused some consternation when they deviate from expectations based on the name or description. But we pick up from here several times each month because it's good enough, we've figured out by trial and error which dishes we like, and it's close to home and therefore quite convenient. The biggest disappointment is that there is effectively no dine-in seating; sometimes we're in the mood to go out to eat and China House isn't an...
