If you're reading the reviews for this place, look to see if it's a Google reviewer, or if it's their friends trying to boost their reviews. Look to see how many reviews that person has given....its by their name on the review. If its 6 or less reviews, its not legit. Now, for an honest review, keep reading!! We were excited to check this place out at lunch. Sadly, I don't think we'll be back and I'm still wondering what happened to Florida/Southern hospitality...... The food was mediocre, at best...bland. The service was extremely lacking, the server who took our order finally checked back when we were almost done, but never offered to fill my empty water (at this point, there's only one other table, so no reason for lack of service). 50 minutes for tasteless food. The real kicker, while we sat waiting for our food, we watched the female owner walk around and chat up each table (7 when we walked in). She went in the back and never said word one to us!!! Seriously?! That's just rude, especially when you don't know us and you're a new business! If you can't be friendly in the restaurant business, then maybe you need a new business model. Maybe they'll figure it out, but not holding my breath! We also were told that three (3) other tables had walked out, because the service waa so slow/long wait time to order. You only get one chance to make a first impression.....and this was NOT a good experience!!!! The only bright spot was the young man in khakis and a white t-shirt. I don't remember his name, but he was working hard...greeting folks, resetting tables, carrying food out....everything but the cash register! You would have thought he...

Back to the drawing board.. 50 minutes for an omlette with 3 tables, the cheese super low quality.. Service terrible, food quality non existent.. non edible meals To bad we wanted a cafe near us.. They should not be doing anything with food or service, maybe stick to the vacum cleaners. Wont be back 1 and done! Edit 7.24 .24 Omg seriously! We had some seniors from the park go there, said the eggs werent cooked, mad!! thinking the wonderful food reviews must be friends and family, these folks need to stay working on vacum cleaners not food, nor customer service platform basic expectations...not even remotely acceptable , plenty of places round,i really worry about food safety when i got what was supposed to be an omlette , had liquid dripping from it..couldnt tell if it was the liquid eggs, or just not cooked or the plastic cheap cheese... No thx. Stick...

OH MY this was the greatest breakfast I have had in such a long time. My wife and I shared the big breakfast. With scrambled eggs, home fries, sour dough toast and side of the sausage gravy these were some options. We also ordered 2 pancakes which we didn't need. The big breakfast is big enough for us 2. Everything is mean everything was absolutely delicious. Eggs light fluffy. Bacon not to crispy just rightly cooked with good flavor. The sausage and sausage gravy was phenomenal. Home fries which for me are fried potatoes. They were delicious. Even the sour dough toast was correctly toasted and buttered. Now the pancakes were fantastic. Oh and the service was awesome. We unfortunately could not eat all our food. Which i hate wasting food but we had to. I highly recommend The Toast Cafe. It is one of the best...

What a choice of meal options! It was our first time here. Super clean. Breakfast or lunch? We both went for breakfast - biscuits n gravy and a meat n cheese omelette. The biscuits are sooo good. Portions were ample and a variety of everything. Omelettes had such original ideas! Every table was raving about their food. One had a huge haddock sandwich. Another had a pork tenderloin. Laurie was a great server. We both had like 7 items we wanted to try. We will have a couple more the next trip.

A friend and I decided to try The Toast Café. My friend decided to have breakfast which was three pieces of bacon, two eggs and two pancakes. I had the breaded tenderloin sandwich with french fries. They were extremely busy but doing their extreme best to make things happen. The wait for food was acceptable. The food portions were very good. And the food taste was very good. Seems to be a great place to eat. They have a great selection on their menu. We will definitely be back.
