I really wanted to like this place, especially since it’s a newer local restaurant that opened in July. Unfortunately, my first experience here at the end of October was very disappointing. When I called in to order, I was told it would be a 35-minute wait. I arrived after about 40 minutes, but when I got there, the staff didn’t know how much longer it would be. I decided to wait inside and ended up waiting another 45 minutes before the pizzas were finally ready. In total, it took over 1 hour and 20 minutes from the time I ordered until I left with my food. During that time, several other customers came in and were told the same thing that the staff didn’t know how much longer their pizzas would be. The girl at the counter was polite but seemed unsure and overwhelmed, offering no time estimates. When I finally got home and tried the pizza, it was another letdown. All we could taste was the crust, which had an odd flavor that overpowered everything else. The toppings were barely noticeable. We paid around $60 for two 16-inch pizzas (with tax and tip), but the gluten-free pizza was noticeably smaller even though it was charged as a 16". To make matters worse, we also ordered two churros that were never included with the order. They had plenty of staff! 2 at the counter and i counted at least 5 or 6 in the kitchen. Seemed a bit disorganized. Overall, between the long wait, missing items, uneven pizza sizes, and disappointing taste, this first visit will probably be our last. I hope they can improve with better timing, communication, and consistency because it’s a nice idea for a local spot, it just really missed the mark for us.

Whenever I try a new pizza place I get a plain cheese pizza as a litmus test because if they can make a solid cheese pizza, the rest should be decent. We ordered the Smokin’ Islander, Plain Cheese, and some oven roasted Honey Sriracha wings. As far as wings go, they were solid, but not mind-blowing. The speciality pizza was a 7.6/10.0 and the cheese was a solid 7.0/10.0. Not the best I have ever had, but worth getting again when they have had some time to dial things in a little bit. As with most new places, the wait time was a little longer than I wished it would be, but small businesses deserve the patience. We will definitely try some more menu items. Definitely worth a try.

Loved the crust and toppings, tipsy sub I did with mayo and it was great although could’ve used a bit more mayo, wings were plain for our son but delicious. We did have a long wait but I know they are working on things as they are new. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely be going back and I look forward to them smoothing things out and building a great pizza place!

Can’t say enough good things about this place, from the food to the staff. We dined in and were greeted as soon as we walked in and the owner himself checked on us after we were served. I had the Italian sub and it was DELICIOUS. Best sub I’ve had in a long time. My friend also got a sub and a side of the Mac and cheese, which also was SO good. The portions were hefty and not overpriced in my opinion. When we left all of the staff, including the owner, said goodbye to us. They were just so friendly the entire time and you got a hometown vibe from them. This will definitely be a place that I frequent. They also offer carry out which is great because the dining space isn’t very big.

The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because it could use some decor or just something more inviting to make you want to dine in. HOWEVER they did just open and what they lack in that department they more than make up for in food and service. Whether you choose to dine in or carry out you won’t be disappointed! Hope to see this place...

Last week we placed our first order with Tipsy Tomato. After we got home, we found that our order wasn't as it should have been. We should have taken it back then, but we had guests at our house. The following day I sent an email to the email address on their facebook page. I attached a picture of the pizza to show them it was not as we ordered, along with a copy of our receipt. Since they are a new business I wanted to give them a heads up. I figured I would not receive any response, but I quickly did. They offered to replace the pizza that was not made right, and we picked it up last night. Not only is their pizza delicious, but their customer service is excellent! We...
