Fruitport Village Diner — Restaurant in Fruitport Charter Township

Waitress was totally rude took my daughter here today sun June 11 2023 she ordered eggs Benedict I ordered sausage and gravy with a side of sour dough bread she then says to me you know that's a lot of bread I let that go then when asked asked for it again I then told her that I am paying for it not you and proceeded to place my order after she left and sitting there with my daughter talking and drinking while waiting for our order I just wanted to cancel the order and leave but my daughter said let's just give it a try so we got our food and she then said yeah we should have left her eggs Benedict was not a thick hollandaise sauce like it was watered down with very little flavor and my full order of sausage and gravy onle came with two biscuits when I asked the difference between a full and half order she said full order is with 4 biscuits and half has two I ordered the full but got a half order but was charged for a full I mentioned this to our waitress said she would bring out the other two but never received them we then proceed to leave after paying and don't feel like this is how you should run a business or treat customers with that said I hope this gets resolved and doesn't happen to anyone in the future thanks village inn of fruitport for a unenjoyable...

I asked for over medium eggs, but they gave me snotty eggs. From the moment our group arrived the hostess treated us like a burden, not one pleasant moment she never even smiled. She was pretty rude in the way she addressed us, a smile, pleasant tone and "please" and, "thank you" should be standard.

The food was adequate, nothing special, nothing aweful.

They keep pretty busy, so they aren't terrible, and maybe the hostess was having a bad day. But they didn't go above and beyond in really anything I could see. I give them a mediocre 3 stars.

For a much better breakfast experience go to I HOP, Bob Evans, Carmen's, Mr. B's or even better, Morning Star in GH (5 Stars).

Not every star shines...

Service was prompt & polite. Visited towards end of day on Sunday so they weren't busy rush was over. First time trying our waitress was very helpful. Food was pretty good. Only things I would have done a little better was my bacon too crunchy over cooked...& my american fries could've been cooked (browned a lil) more along with the onions I had added to them....I would have liked them cooked as well not just thrown on top....Idk if it was just a hurried thing because they were closing soon or if that's how they always do it. Overall tho the food was good, the service was great, the restaurant was clean, servings were good size, prices were fair. I would definitely...
