This was a horrible experience! I went thru all the steps for delivery and completed my order. Used PayPal to pay and was really looking forward to my food. I was called before I could even get out of the webdire only to be told they don't deliver after 10pm. There was nothing they would do for me and it would take up to 5 days to get my money back! The person wouldn't give me his name when I asked and I was told that no one cares that the website and the actual stores, do not work together so making a claim or doing this review would solve absolutely nothing. He also stated he has to work through his breaks...That Dominos doesn't care about its employees or that the customer has to pay the price for innacurate website information/ online ordering misleading the public, taking my money, while not even trying to complete the order. I wasn't offered any kind of compensation. When I pressed the issue I was told I could get a pizza credit but I don't order the pizza. I have intestinal cancer and cannot eat pizza. I order the chicken etc... specialty orders... and I now don't have the money to order food anywhere else. I'm starving and will have to go to bed hungry. I'm very upset, and dissatisfied with Domino's response to this experience. I'm appalled actually that this is the kind of customer service I'm given when the restaurant / hotel industry is based in customer service for their livelyhood. Is this actually the way it's going to be resolved? If I am not contacted by Domino's and compensated for this experience I will be truly let down and will never again patron their restaurants. Read moreI order once every other week. The ordering goes well, and we receive our two pizzas in about 40 minutes. Tonight we set up our order, and then watched the progress. Finally it said the pizza was out for delivery. For some reason I reloaded the page, and it said our pizza was being quality checked, and then the indicator sat there. After about ten minutes I called the local number, and I was put on hold until I had to hang up. A few minutes later I called again, and there was no answer. I called again and a woman answered and I told her the problem. She told me our pizzas would be there soon. I found on my screen what looked like the delivery car symbol, but it never moved toward our house. After about 20 minutes (40 minutes since the site said the pizza was out for delivery) it arrived. But still no sign on my screen.
I can't say whether the pizzas were done to perfection, since they weren't very hot when they arrived. I will think twice before I tip the driver up front. Not sure this thing's on, since when I try to give star ratings, there is no sign my selection has registered. And what happened to those wonderful vehicles with the built-in oven. Read moreOrdered 3 pizzas, pasta and soda as a surprise lunch. Asked that it be delivered by noon; at 12:20 the driver calls saying he is lost. In this day and age with GPS hard for me to believe he was lost being their shop is only 2 miles away and the business was right off the main road with a big sign. I called to complain and was told that the assistant manager could not help but that the GM would call, he never called. I have to call back twice the next day and then threaten to call corporate. When he called back he said he had called the people that I ordered the pizza for and they said they were very happy with the order. Sadly, it was a surprise for them and they had no idea what time it was to be there. I was told by the GM that I was the only one not happy. Well I guess that is important since I was the one who ordered and paid for this order. Needless to say, I have escalated this to corporate.
