Bastanchury Park — Attraction in Fullerton

Lights for the most part off on Sundays . Heads up , unless there is a baseball and or softball game . Full court basketball [1] double rims just saying but not bad during the week people show up around 6 - 630 to play . Park has kids playground , bathroom with changung tables . Limited on grass as far as a park goes . Parking lot in the middle with park opyion surrounding . Somewhat small but not bad , no bbqs or is that type of park . Crowd is random but good people , no down on thier luck individuals living on the premise . So safe but is located next to a main street beginning or ending of Basatnchury Road but not affecting safety while in the park . There is a water drinking fountain . No snack vending machines or food for purchase . Horse trails and currently no longer in rail way / rail road located just behind park just west as far as location or direction is concerned . This place was meh. I was there for a free concert in the park. There was not ample parking to satisfy the demands of the event and it was a long hike down to where the concert was and an equally long hike back up. After the concert, people who had parked on the sides of the designated parking areas blocked the road trying to turn around in the incredibly narrow lane instead of just pulling forward into the lower parking area and coming back up the hill, making it treacherous for those trying to properly exit with their vehicles. Perhaps for regular community sporting events there is adequate parking and everyone using the parking behaves normally, however that was not...

Very nice park overall. The entry is off Bastanchury blvd. with plenty of parking to the right, where the North ball field is, or to the left. The basketball courts, children’s play area, the South ball field and soccer field are on this side. In the middle are the restrooms. The grass on the soccer as well as the ball field is very well maintained and full. Great for family time, running the dog, evening walk. There is a path that can be walked around the entire park. It is a nice clean and relaxing place to take a minute and enjoy some outdoor greasy air...
