The Gryphon Gameroom — Local services in Fuquay-Varina

There is a limited selection of arcade games. Most of the games are ticket producing games that are over quickly. Several of the games were out of order and several of the tickets producing games were out of tickets and had been since the night before. One of the employees said the key to open the games and add the tickets broke. The bathroom that is in the same room separated by only a curtain was not clean. It could be a good place to go if they improve the selection of arcade games. I went there for my kids, not myself, and they expressed their frustrations which I have relayed here. In response to the owner's less than professional response to my review, I have over 240 reviews at this point and have been a local guide for years. The vast majority of my reviews are positive. In fact, most of them are 5 stars. If your establishment does not, in my opinion, warrant a five star review it says more about your establishment and less about me trying to bring anyone down. The Gryphon Game room is a very nice family friendly arcade located in the side of the Fuquay Sports Center building. There are a variety of games to play from retro such as Pac Man and Skee Ball to crane games and other games to earn tickets. The tickets can be redeemed in an adjacent room for fun items, such as slap bracelets, toy cars, action figures and stuffed animals. The one aspect that could be addressed is a few of the games, such as the game that is similar to whack-a-mole, did not have any labeling indicating how many tokens were required to play the game, unfortunately. My two-year-old toddler and I went there, but we weren't able to acquire what we were expecting. However, the location is incredibly lovely and offers enjoyable games for youngsters older than six, who can probably really enjoy themselves there. Since my two-year-old couldn't participate, we chose to play. I twice won jackpots totaling 2000 tickets, and by swapping those tickets, I was able to buy gifts for my son.
