Honestly, we were disappointed. My boyfriend and I went there for our first date in the old building and we were excited to check out the new place, but I'm not sure we'll be back anytime soon. We weren't greeted warmly or in a timely manner. Four guys looked over at us and never smiled or greeted us. They ran out of their top selling beers. The NEIPA they had on tap was not a true NEIPA. When you order a New England IPA you expect a juicy, hazy IPA because that's the type of IPA that it is. What you don't expect is the brewery's new take of an NEIPA. We tried every beer they had and nothing was worth coming back for. I will say the chicken tacos were really good, but I wasn't impressed with the bulgogi beef ones. It seems they are trying to imitate the tacos at Donkey Taqueria and they did a poor job. They were overpriced in my opinion as well. The cheesesteak sandwich wasn't that great either. If you want to have a fancy sandwich like that on your menu get a good quality bun. They do not have a proper website either. They only have their menu and tap list on Facebook. They've been around for 6 years so they should have a proper website. We want to like your place. We live right down the street. I would suggest pairing your food ingredients better and keeping your top selling beer...
Read moreThe service was horrible. The waiter never asked us how our food was or if we needed anything. He never brought the bill, so I had to wave my arms in the air while holding my credit card in order to get his attention from across the room because he made no effort to even glance in our direction after taking our order. The female manager (?) brought our food to us and made very odd comments to my wife about her order. It seemed like she was shaming her for ordering something that a man would normally order. It was very strange. Her essential oil perfume was so overpowering we almost lost our appetite. I'm not sure why no one has said anything to her about that. When you're in an industry where you interact closely with other people, especially while they're trying to eat, you shouldn't wear strong perfumes. It's common sense. The five Gordon Food Service brand chicken strips that I was served were not worth the $9 that I paid. While we were leaving, a female employee was letting a black lab into the rear entrance of the restaurant. I'm not positive about what the health codes have to say about having an animal near where food is being prepared, but I'm sure it's at least frowned upon. I know...
Read moreWow. I've been a fan of the local brewery since it opened 4 years ago. Most of their beers are pretty average but good with a few that stand out like peanut butter cocoa time. I love KBS/Black Note /Dark Lord and to be able to get PBCT at half the price of those is outstanding. I say average but I'll add under rated. They've now started a restaurant next door. We had some pretty slow service but I think it's just working out some kinks as any new restaurant would. Regardless, the food was worth the wait. Our server Steph was phenomenal. We had a hangry toddler and she was very supportive and made some.jokes to her that helped calm her down. She was always visiting our table even though our food was taking a while (again, slow service due to being a new restaurant IMO) Steph always had drinks for us and made sure anything in her control was complete. The food was awesome. I had the Buffalo chicken Mac (pictured). Awesome. Served hot, very creamy/homemade. My daughter had the chicken tenders...also great (and made her not hangry). I do wish the menu had more variety in a sense it felt.like half of the menu had either kimchi or gochu. However you'll find something and chances are...
