Edit: Im changing the 2 stars to 4. Service has really improved here. Haven't seen the rude lady on evening shift in a while either. Shout out to Caty working by herself this morning. Original review: I started going through the drive-through off and on about 2 months ago. In that time, I've not had many good experiences. The second time I went, I asked for something on the menu, and all I got back was, "I can't do that." No explanation alternatives or "sorry, I'm all out." The woman sounded very irritated and like she hated her job. I don't blame her for just that, everyone has bad days. But I also work in food and customer service, and I have never just given a customer a grumpy sounding "I can't do that" with only silence to follow. Another three times after that, my order was wrong. I still went again because I love the boba coffee. There is nowhere else to get it that's local. This last time I went, I placed my order but on the screen it said milk tea. I wanted the coffee one so I tried to clarify but the woman (same woman as mentioned earlier) didn't understand. She asked if I wanted coffees in addition to the boba. I said no and before I could explain she cut me off and told me "it's right" and to pull up to the window. At the window I asked again if they are the coffee boba, not the milk boba. At this point I began to think that she does not know what is on the menu because she asked if I wanted 4 drinks. I explained that there are 2 flavors of this drink and I wanted the coffee flavor. I even said I would buy 4 drinks if she already made the milk tea flavor. It sounded like I finally got through to her and I could buy the coffee boba and milk bobas, the more the merrier. She only rang me up for 2 and and handed me the wrong flavor. I just wanted some comfort food. But if I lose my appetite because I feel like I'm a nuisance or not heard, its not comforting at all and I do not need it. Again, I work a very similar job to this woman. If I can be polite to customers all day and make sure they have what they want, why can't she? If I go back it won't be on her shift. Read moreI’ve lived in this town my entire 21 years of life and this jack in the box has been here just as long. That being said, I am no stranger to going and getting a meal here! In the last couple years there was a policy put in place that extra sauce was a 25 cent charge. No problem. I always order one singular ranch. I have not ever been charged for a singular ranch with my order. Well today going through the drive though that’s what I ordered was ONE ranch. I saw they charged an extra 25 cents to my order before I pulled away. When I finally got to the window, before I went to pay I asked the heavier set white woman with tattoos if she could remove the charge for the ONE ranch. I explained how I had never been charged for a SINGULAR ranch before and I did not care if I got the sauce with my order or not. I did not want to pay an extra charge for ONE ranch. I was already putting it on my credit card anyways. Times are tough. The employee then began to rudely explain to me that the policy has been the same the whole 8 months she’d been working there and whoever wasn’t charging me wasn’t doing their job. She then also asked if this was my first time at Jack in the box. I don’t understand why the employee made such a big deal about me asking to take a sauce off of my order. There is a sign in the window stating extra sauce will be a 25 cent charge, nowhere does it say ONE ranch with your order is also a charge. Read moreI went inside. I ordered a jumbo jack with bacon and cheese and a small curly fry. The lady asked if I wanted the combo. I said no. When she gave me my change and receipt she also handed me a medium cup. I assumed she either charged for a combo because it was cheaper that way or just being nice. When I got my bag the curly fries were missing. I went back in with the bag and receipt. I tried telling the lady that I didn't get my fries. She said "I asked if you wanted the combo." I said Ididn't. I only wanted the fries. I tried to explain that she misunderstood me and charged me for a drink and not the fries that I ordered. She kept saying over and over " I asked you if you wanted the combo" she still wasn't understanding what I was saying. Eventually she said" ill just give them to you" very aggressively. I said thank you , not in your typical nice way but sarcastically. She then went into Hispanic rant . Nothing nice. Im sure. I told her she could say whatever she wanted. I grabbed my CORRECT order and left. I've never had a good experience at this jack in the box. Drive thru or inside. Its predominantly Hispanic females and they all seem miserable and irritated to serve you. Maybe this jack in the box should try hiring some employees a little older. More mature. Ones that pay attention. And ones that don't use their use of Spanish to hide behind. Wont go back. Its definitely...
