Taqueria Taco Loco — Restaurant in Gainesville

Legit. Taquerias are always a hot or miss, either they’re too greasy or the ingredients are not fresh. That’s not the case at Taco Loco. I tried the gorditas, one barbacoa and the other chicharrón. The gorditas were not greasy and tasted amazing. The barbacoa was so good I I had to get some more, I ordered two barbacoa tacos and they were amazing! The salsa roja and verde were not spicy but did add excellent flavor to enhance and compliment the tacos. Also the rice and beans tasted homemade and were not overly salty or greasy. I order a Ham Torta and 3 tacos: asada, al pastor and lengua. The torta was prepared pretty good with the right amount of meat and plenty of avocado. Each taco was seasoned correctly and the avocado salsa complemented the Yummmillicious flavors of each dish. Prices are reasonable.
