Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Gainesville

The "manager" and "GM" were of no help... They made our pizza wrong and APPARENTLY Their receipt says the pizza was "supposed" to have sauce, yet our Uber Eats receipt says NO SAUCE AND the receipt we got with the pizza says NO SAUCE.

Then the "manager" said she and the GM wouldn't give us the franchise owners name or number, the "General manager" never even spoke to us directly AND the recording they play says they guarantee a "perfect pizza every time."

Nobody at the store took ANY accountability or even ATTEMPTED to make it right.

I have a screenshot of the receipt I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to send to the franchise owners and hope they will make this right and honor their "perfect pizza every time" guarantee!.

The "manager" and the "gm" are BOTH in SERIOUS NEED of customer service training and training on how to actually care about their customers, as well as coaching on manners and how to treat their guests.

If I don't hear back from the franchise managers I will not only post about our experience on EVERY SITE where people can review businesses, NONE of the people I know in Gainesville will be shopping with this store either and they will all be leaving reviews about this experience and how devoid this establishment is of honoring their word.

Our word to others is supposed to mean something, otherwise our word means NOTHING which is bad enough as people; but even FAR worse for a business.

I apologize if this review seems pointed, but I have never been as disrespected as i was tonight when I was simply calling to ask them to fix THEIR mistake.

Please make this right and make good on your promise for a "perfect pizza...

Horrible service, waitress was friendly but had zero knowledge of menu items , no information on specials. Asked for a beer, said they didn't have any beer, wasn't given any reason why they didn't have any beer. (menu showed 3 different types of beer) asked for a coke , was told they didn't have coke right now because it was real watery. (assumed they would have changed the soda box out) On the window cling a boxed meal special was advertised. (2 pizzas, wings, bread sticks, etc) When we inquired about the special advertised in the window, was told they had no box specials. Advised her to get the manager to pull the advert out of the window then. Was checked on 1 time at end of dinner. Never got a refill on either drink. Very poor experience for a large pizza, 2 drinks, bread sticks, and six wings for $31.99. Called and talked to manager the next day and was told they were out of beer, they were out of Pepsi, Out of Dr Pepper, and they were out of the rectangular pizza's that goes into the big box special. Management did talk to us and tried to fix things, but we WILL NOT EVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. Revision: Going to give these guys another chance. The G.M. did everything in his power to make things right and we all have those kind of days. They must have had a rough weekend to be out of that many menu items. Hope the next...

I don't know if this is a franchise store or a privately owned store but which ever it is this is without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever received. 1st I called the store 4 times for a collective total of 6 min and no one ever answered the phone. I get here there is a customer complaining about his order and a 2nd customer just left because he didn't get a portion of his order. When I inquired as to why no one answered the phone the lady behind the counter said they were short handed. There are four ladies working here. 2 of them were on cell phones. One was on with the manager because theybdidnt have a manager here on a Saturday night. Guess What? There is not one customer in the dining room. Not one. How are you short handed? This is a business phone. Aside from your in store customer this should be the most important thing you have. I went to order a pizza for takeout. She asked me what I wanted? I asked for any available specials and she seemed to be put out by my request? She then proceeded to tell me the specials. She said they had a large for 7.99. I will take it.
