Galesburg seems to have no shortage of local coffee shops, but this one absolutely exumed character. Formally a gas-stop, you can see evidence from it's building structure. Still, it has been tastefully re-made, enclosing a warm, inviting, groovy atmosphere. There's lots of artwork installed and orange accents that love up the space. As for the menu, my friend (who is not a big eater) inhaled her breakfast sandwich with enthusiasm--which is about the highest complement I can give. The drinks came in a million different options, flavors, and embellishments. I didn't see what I wanted on the menu, but when I asked directly, they were able to make the lavender matcha I was hoping for. I'd say that service is above...

I think printed copies of the drink options out on the tables and at the bar area would be a help with handling traffic problems in ordering. It is hard to decide, knowing there are people waiting behind you, and you are studying the menu, looking at all the delicious sounding drinks. Or you could have a stack of the menus laying there for people to read at their tables, then when they are ready to order bring it up to the counter area. Just a thought! Your lattes, and food offerings, what I have had anyway, have always been delicious, the staff are very friendly and courteous, and I love the big doors or windows ! Just a nice place to sit and enjoy yourself. Keep growing and improving our lives by your presence...

In chronological order. AMBIENCE: Somehow I never thought of putting "ambience" and "coffee shop" together in the same sentence. Well, I'm over that now. STAFF: Friendly and engaging, kind of like they were glad I was there. Congratulations ladies. Mission accomplished. FLAVOR OF THE DAY: Some of their offerings should have a tagline attached, "as much for the soul as for the pallet. The coffee was like a hug, but it comes in a cup. Didn't expect that. MANAGER/OWNER: Had the opportunity to chat briefly with owner. It's perfectly clean why this place is, the way it is. Thank you.
