Found the restaurant when looking for a local restaurant near the hotel. We prefer locally owned/operated and previous reviews had us add the stop. Pz's did NOT disappoint! If we ever find ourselves back this way, we will make the time to stop again. We pulled in and the parking lot was full, and the smell coming out of the kitchen exhaust... We started to drool and knew we made the right decision
It was very busy. Recommend if you can, calling ahead/reserving. We didn't, and lucked out when a table didn't show.
Our waitress was FANTASTIC! Everyone seemed to really enjoy working there. They have a fully stocked bar and the drinks coming out looked good, but I didn't drink.

Looked like a nursing home cafeteria, except for the bar and the salad bar. My son got the filet and prawns. Steak was fantastic cooked to perfection. Fresh mashed potatoes on the side. Prawns a bit over cooked but still good..I got the fried shrimp and baked potato. Yuck. All I could taste was oil on the small prebreaded frozen out of a box shrimp. And the baked potato had been reheated was very pastey. They also use margarine instead of butter. I did like the small salad bar. I ordered the 3 pc chicken dinner which came with choice of potato, vegetable and salad bar for $8.95. It said on the menu that they were known for their chicken, I can see why. It was lightly breaded, juicy but not greasy and the meat was very tender. My wife had the butterflied shrimp and was pleased with both the amount of shrimp and that they were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be going back as I want to try the hand cut steaks and prime rib.
