What a wonderful place! I had been driving by PZ's on my way to other places to eat. I am really glad we stopped. I ordered the 3 pc chicken dinner which came with choice of potato, vegetable and salad bar for $8.95. It said on the menu that they were known for their chicken, I can see why. It was lightly breaded, juicy but not greasy and the meat was very tender. My wife had the butterflied shrimp and was pleased with both the amount of shrimp and that they were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be going back as I want to try the hand cut steaks and prime rib. The staff was very pleasant and efficient, when we mentioned we were new to the area, our waitress brought out menus for us to take home and explained the different nightly specials. While PZ's does not have any dine in due to covid-19, their takeout is awesome! Went there twice during my recent visit to Galesburg. Their entrees include a side, veggie of the day and selections for the salad bar. The salad bar includes tossed salad with several dressings, potato salad, cole slaw and chocolate pudding. You get a to go container and fill it with whatever you want. I had the grilled chicken one night and grilled pork chops the other. Both were moist, tender and delicious. I also chose the large baked potato both times along with string beans as the veggie. If ever back in Galesburg will visit PZ's again.

Okay Pz's, I felt like I walked in a dive bar. Right off the bat I don't understand the menu or rather it's not very informative. Open salad bar was great, Coleslaw was amazing. I ordered the Tony T which includes a 6oz Filet and 5 Prawns and the fiance got Prime Ribs. While I'm skeptical on this mom and pop steak joint I gotta say, these prawns were phenomenal! My Filet was very un-seasoned but it was perfectly cooked. My fiances ribs were under seasoned but she enjoyed it very much so over all I'll say good job Pz! And thank you for the experience and service.

Stopped by for lunch with my parents. Tuesday special chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes. Came with salad bar (no cucumbers), green beans, bread and bitter. Husband went to the bathroom and felt like it wasn't very clean. Staff very friendly. Not much mashed potatoes but the chicken and noodles were great. Kinda out of the way for us. But for the most part enjoyed the first time experience.
