Food was garbage, canned mushrooms, boiled onions and the chicken tenders were a joke, the "tenders" looked and tasted like someone took a McChicken sandwich and sliced it into 6 pieces. The cashier was beyond rude and looked dirty and mad. When we noticed all of the tables still had dirty dishes and old food on them, she acted like it was a huge inconvenience to have someone clean the table off. She was very unpleasant and even gave us a shrug and a frustrated sigh WHILE taking our order. They didnt give us any plates we had to go ask for our own, and I don't think a single staff member gave us a single smile, the lady who brought us our Pizza and "chicken" was the same way, she looked like her hygiene was not up to par and possibly over worked and under paid, well she literally slams the pizza on our table and walks off. No plates, napkins, forks, or even a simple "enjoy" literally nothing just slam and go she seemed 100% fed up with her job possibly even life in general.....this experience was HORRIBLE, food was gross, people were gross, and our table was disgustingly dirty as well.....Needless to say I'll never be back to this...
Read moreWe were from out of town coming to Gallipolis to bring home kittens... When we asked the breeder where would be a good local place to eat dinner, she immediately suggested Lorobi's. So, we decided to try it because we not only enjoy eating at local restaurants when out of town, but we LOVE pizza. We got to the 2nd Avenue location around 5pm... they were mostly doing drive-up or carryout orders due to COVID-19, but we asked if we could dine there & were told we could. They followed guidelines & had tables marked as to where to sit & the employees wore masks, so that was a positive sign. Not long after sitting down, my garden salad, silverware, plates, etc were brought out... the salad was fresh & lettuce nice & crisp. Shortly after, our pizza arrived & looked delicious. We got the special with a couple of substitutions on toppings... it was excellent... nice thinner crispy chewy crust with just the right amount of fresh toppings. So glad we listened to the recommendation & gave Lorobi's a try... it was delicious, friendly service, & we'd go there again if ever back in town! You won't be disappointed if...
Read moreI have been enjoying Lorobi's pizza since I was in high school. In the ensuing 15 years the quality and taste of their pizzas has not changed a bit. Be warned: this is NOT health food by any means. These pizzas are greasy and you will love every minute of it. My younger brother and I love to go here and share a pie. We will just relax in the quiet atmosphere and catch up with one another. A group of my friends and myself also dine here one Saturday a month as part of our hangout routine. I also have a dear friend who moved several years ago, when we come to visit he requests that we bring him a Lorobi's pizza. That's how good this stuff is!
It is very inexpensive, you can get a pizza large enough for four people and spend $15 (not including drinks) but of course this will vary from person to person. The staff are friendly and quick to serve you. The decor may be a little worn down but it gives the place character and charm. If you are in the Gallipolis area and craving a good slice, stop by one of the two Lorobi's locations in town, you will be glad...
