Nancy's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Galloway Township

My family and I went here on Mother's Day and had the worst experience ever. We waited 1 hour and 30 mins for our food. After waiting so long I asked for the manager. I proceeded to tell the owner how long we had been waiting and her response was "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO". While speaking with her our food proceeded to come out to the table which was incorrect and I explained to her the order was incorrect and due to our experience I will be writing a review. She proceeded to say "IF I GIVE YOU A DISCOUNT WILL YOU STILL WRITE A REVIEW" I proceeded to say that is a possibility because my family and I did not have a good experience. Needless to say we left the resturant without eating anything and she proceeded to call the police because she wanted me to pay for the food we never touched or ate.This was so embarrassing to my family and children I would not recommend this place. When the police came and I told them my experience and what happened I was not obligated to pay the bill because we never touched anything. This should teach the owner to have better customer service I hope she learned from this because she lost other customers this day due to how we...

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We were one of the few families at this place on Mother’s Day. We called to make reservations at 9:30, got there and waited at the door for about 10 mins until one of the lady server/greeter approached us, she then informed us that the owner which is who took the call never informed her of our reservation, but after another 10 mins waiting outside, we were seated. The tables and chairs were half cleaned so we took it upon ourselves to clean the table with the bleach bottle and dish cloth that was left. We ordered our food and waited for over 40 mins to be served, and May I add that it wasn’t busy, just seemed understaffed and unprepared. Another family who was there before us was going to leave since their food hadn’t arrived, after they spoke with the owner. The owner starts to get upset because the woman told her she’d be leaving a bad review, and the owner starts to argue with this woman in front of all of the customers and minor children, and made this huge scene because she decided to follow the family outside. A friend and I went for breakfast. I was excited to try it out. I luv a good Mom and Pop shop. The place is sooo cute inside and outside. We sat down looked at the menu and ordered steak and eggs with tst. and coffee. The steak was awful the eggs were cooked perfectly and the coffee well lets just say I've had better. But what really got me was how ABSOLUTELY AWFUL the server / service was. We were both so taken aback. Then as we were leaving a young gentleman came in and walked towards the counter and the server (our server) said (VERY NASTY) can I help you. The young man lookd at her and was like ummm I wanna sit and order then looked at us like did she seriously just talk to me like that. I really really wanted to like this place too.
