The restaurant itself is beautiful really clean, cozy atmosphere with thoughtful details like spotless bathrooms and available high chairs, which is always appreciated when dining with a toddler. That part definitely made a good first impression.
Now, onto the food experience. We ordered three entrees (two adults, one kids) and a French toast, and our total came to almost $80, which felt steep for a casual breakfast spot. Some of the charges didn’t make sense we were upcharged for swapping ham for eggs, which is odd since meat is usually pricier. A large orange juice was about $8, and my small Sprite was $6 and I didn’t even get a refill or a follow-up from the server.
The food was... okay. Everything was kind of bland and needed seasoning. The biggest letdown was the French toast what we received was bread with a slice of plain cream cheese in the middle. Online, it looked like it was supposed to come with flavored or whipped cream cheese inside and on top, but ours didn’t have any of that. For $17, it felt very underwhelming.
I really wanted to love this place because the vibe is great, but the pricing, food quality, and lack of attentiveness didn’t match the environment. I hope they can make a few changes, because it definitely...
Read moreWayyy overpriced. They have a sign posted about an added charge for eggs or pancakes because of the higher price of eggs. The price is not adjusted on the menu, and they do not tell you when you're ordering, so I had no clue till I got the bill. I got pancakes, a side of bacon, and 2 coffees. The pancakes were adjusted to $17.48 when they were listed at $12.99. I ended up paying $40 for my meal and was not planning on it for what I had gotten. The pancakes were really good, coffee was pretty strong, and the bacon was bacon. I understand a bump in the pricing, but in my opinion, the customer MORE than absorbs the inflation. An added $4+ for pancakes is a lil crazy to me. (Found out later the sign say $1+, but the cashier didn't adjust anything and I didn't feel like going back when I realized.) On top of the fact that if you miss the signs at the front, you won't know until you get the bill, because there's no info at the table or when you're ordering. Food, and atmosphere were great and our waitress was really amazing. The major detractor was the overpricing. I believe eggs are going down a bit, so hopefully, they adjust. I won't be back...
Read moreI stopped by here because of the high ratings but I don't get it.
The interior looked nice enough and was clean but was definitely cluttered and didn't make much sense. Normally not a big deal but it just looked at disheveled the real problem here is the food.
I ordered a sausage egg and cheese and specifically requested to be on a toasted bagel.
When I got it it was soggy and dripping with sausage juice and butter, ewww! You can tell they put the inside of the bagel down the grill to make it look toasted but the bagel was definitely not toasted. It was soft mushy and gross.... and the sausage was even worse very clumpy definitely undercooked and lots of fat and cartilage. It was the strangest sausage I've ever seen. I guess the people who live close by here don't have many options so they like it but I would never go back.
AND.... just a breakfast sandwich was $20! Who the hell charges $20 for a...
