Caribbean Custard & Italian Ice Bear Lake — Restaurant in Garden City

Great concept but awful employees/service. Does not meet the expectations of a local Bear lake shop. Not greeted when we walked up, soon figured out that you need to order on their device using their app. The machine we used was glitching and not registering our order. We asked a few questions to try and get it figured out. But still the same problem. So my husband kindly asked if we could just order at the counter. We were the only ones there so we didn’t see an issue with it. She said no, but could come out and help us, which she did. But then 2 other groups show up after us and don’t even attempt to use the kiosk, and the 2 girls assisted them over the counter, and they received their orders before we did. We had to wait 15+ min for 3 ice creams, and we were the ones there first, and after being told they couldn’t wait on us over the counter. Suggestions better training with loyal employees, and be local don’t use a computer for people to place orders know your location and your consumer. Face to face, a good experience, and great service is what will keep this place in business for years to come. If not it will be like every other shop I have seen over the past 40 years in that...

Overall I'm giving this place a 5 star review for many many reasons. Best custard ever, basically what carribean custard does is makes their ice cream gourmet so it is the creamy cold ice cream called custard shakes. The Italian ice was to die for, being my second favorite thing there behind the Gelato which I well tell you about later. The Italian ice is made with such smoothness that when it's in your mouth it might just slide down your throat highly recommend the Italian ice. When i first tried the Gelato I was so surprised on how good it was they make all kinds of different flavors my personal favorite was oreo and Twix they were the absolute best. They even make drinks they have all these amazing drinks for you to pick. I love their drinks. Their service my shake could be handed out in 4-5 minutes.

Overall I give carribean custard a five out of five star, wish I could do six...

UPDATE: After an HOUR AND A HALF. We finally got all of our shakes only after they started our order and gave out 2 orders while we only had half of our order. After finally getting our full order half of our shakes we’re melting all over me. I’ll be sending my dry cleaning bill. Shake was not even worth it. Been waiting here for an hour for our shakes and still nothing. There were only 4 people working where 2 were scooping Italian ice and the other 2 were eating and sitting at the register. Managmemt was walking around and chatting when they should have been in the back and helping. As someone who teaches students about the culinary and hospitality industry.
