Southside Patty's — Restaurant in Garden City

This is a small local bar that is very friendly and everyone becomes a friend and makes a friend. When part owner Andy cooks (which unfortunately is only Thurs, Fri, and Mon-Tuesday night, there is not a better burger in town, including the local restaurant favorite by Walmart and the RC chain. The place is packed on Wed nights for 6pm trivia, and on Thursday nights a lively dancing, singing crowd plays Juke Box Bingo. If they know you and its your birthday, they buy a cake for you. We really enjoyed Southside Pattys! We were invited to celebrate the 100th Birthday of a highly decorated WWII veteran - first wave on D Day - I believe Chuck received over 6 medals for his injuries and bravery. The folks are Southside Pattys were so nice, drinks were awesome and food so very tasty! A very nice hometown Irish Pub! Ordered beef quesadilla left hungry. Barely any filling. Four quesadilla slices, two small pieces of beef in each slice. One slice had three very small pieces of beef. Pretty pathetic honestly. The Dublin dip sandwich was pretty good except au jus spilled in basket and made it a mess to eat. What saved the rating from going lower than 3 stars was the friendly service and decent happy hour beer prices. Food was only 1-2 stars....
