Yoshiharu Ramen — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Message to the owner. Me and my wife enter the entrance at 5 30 pm. A worker greets us at 5 40 pm . { it took them full 10 min just to greet us } We sit at the table at 5 45 and we order 10 min later . My order arrived at 6 15 pm . Around 6 35 we ask the server if they forgot my wife’s meal and she responded no . People that came 5 and 10 min after us their order came and they were finishing eating before even my wife order comes . At 6 40 I decided to get up and go talk to the server and the cooks who were talking to each other. I told them that I feel upset because they forgot my wife’s order . I talk in very respectful manner and I was at least waiting for an apology but instead the server insisted that they never forgot my wife’s order. I felt disrespected and I asked them again why the other customers that came after us their order came before us and second why in party of 2 they sent out my order out 20 to 30 min before my wife’s order come . Went for an early dinner on Tuesday. I was surprised to find a brand new AYCE menu option at the Garden Grove location. It is $24 and available all day. There is a lot of ramen, appetizers and sushi rolls to choose from.

I had the tonkatsu black ramen which had a lot of toppings. The noodles were chewy and bouncy. The broth was fantastic. I also had the tonkatsu miso ramen. Just as delicious and recommend both.

For appetizers I recommend the grilled gyoza, the shrimp tempura and the egg rolls. The char is the grilled gyoza took it to another level for me. The tempura is crispy and not oily at all. The egg rolls were crispy and filled with flavorful vegetables.

For sushi rolls I got a California roll, a Dragon roll, an OMG roll and spam musubi. The rolls are all really packed with ingredients and all fresh and delicious. The spam musubi is really thick cut. I recommend all of them.

The AYCE MENU is only available at the Garden Grove location and I cannot wait to go back and try...

I give 3 stars only because of the food. The food was really good, I came here with my friend but the service was so bad. The server was clearly overwhelmed, I don’t know if it was an off day but she had no help. We got sat took like 10 minutes to be able to order. She took the meal and drink orders at the same time. We didn’t wait too long for the food, someone else brings out the food, and we have no utensils. We are trying to flag someone but nothing until our serves comes back with something else we ordered, and she finally brings us chopsticks. We ask her for our drinks again and she said she’d bring it, we eat our whole meal and we couldn’t flag her down for drinks any time. She finally comes over to us at the end with the check, that she doesn’t forget to bring us so we pay and annoyed at the fact we couldn’t get anything to drink and leave.
