Such a disappointing experience!! Manager Paula is so rude and unprofessional! While shes at fault and her employees were at fault and didnt initially do their job right! she insisted to make a problem with me! And she lied about calling me back with her finding after watching the cameras whenever âshe canâ! I purchased a damn coat from clearance 40$ I came to return it after two weeks , they wouldnât do the return saying it doesnât match the tag and called the manager. I explained to the manager that it seems the employees tagged it wrong, i returned it the way i bought it! How come they sold me it with the wrong tag but wouldnât return it with that same tag! The so called manager Paula came up & totally disregarded my presence puts the coat in a bag and hands it back to me with such a nasty attitude, ok thats it and walks away. keep in mind I had items to purchase in my cart!! I said wait I need to talk to you this isnât over and i asked her to check the cameras since she wouldnât believe me and embarrassed me while so many customers are around. She insisted on being ugly and kept telling me: ânot happening today! She repeated it so many times and I kept asking her to check the cameras for the day of purchase! She replied we have the right to refuse a return. I was really shocked, I couldnt believe how she was acting! Its been a weeek+ she hasnt reached out to me via phone as she said she will; after I insisted for her to check the cameras. Anyhow I reached out to corporate and they ended up helping me. I dont know how she became a manager; but she doesnât belong to such position! Very rude and arrogant person! I will avoid that store...
Read moreI was very surprised and upset after shopping at Marshall Chapman. When I checked out, my total was $94.56. I was not given a bag to carry my items. The cashier initially offered me a $9.99 reusable bag, and I said âNo, thank you.â Then, she didnât give me even a regular plastic bag to carry my purchase. I asked about it, and she said there were none left.
However, everyone else in line before me got plastic bags as usual, so I was very frustrated. I asked another staff member for a bag, and only then was I given a plastic bag to carry my items to the car.
When I complained about the cashier, another employee told me that if someone buys only a few items, they donât get a plastic bag. Five items, including one large toy for a child and four other items, totaling $94 â is that considered âa small purchaseâ?
May I ask when Marshall changed its policy? How much does a plastic bag cost that you have to treat customers this way?
If you want to promote reusable bags, there are better ways to market them. Please donât do this to customers who are bringing their money to shop with you.
This is not the first time Iâve experienced this issue with the same cashier â itâs actually the second time. Unfortunately, I didnât...
Read moreI donât like walking into any store with a purse for safety reasons. I take a small wallet and my phone in my pocket. I walked into Marshallâs with my protein drink and a bottle of water. Immediately a manager with blonde frizzy, bushy hair told me âyou canât have that in hereâ I walked it back to my car and looked at the sings in front of the store window. Nothing indicated that you canât have a drink with you.
I walked back in and asked her if there was a sign indicating that. She responded âno, they are in the back making one right nowâ I told her, âif I had a purse you wouldnât know if I had a drink on meâ she responded âcorrect.
So I come here most every Saturday morning. One occasion a little rat dog took a poop on the floor inside the store and another occasion someone walked out of the store with merchandise without payingâŚ.
Yet, you want to fuss about me having water and a protein drink??? Iâm hypoglycemic and a bariatric patient, I always have to have something with me. And I shouldnât have to disclose my medical conditions to justify having those things on me.
This has changed my mind about coming to Marshallâs ever again or recommending people go to any Marshallâs for...
