Here's the thing. If you're going to have security at your door, they too need to be educated in TABC law. How embarrassing for your doorguy that I had to school him on the spot when he attempted to keep one of my group from entering based on age, despite the fact that his parents were also part of my group, which is 100% legal so long as they remain at the location while the child is at the location, and that any alcohol he consumes is purchased and provided directly by his parent. And yes, this law applies to private clubs.
On top of that, the wait staff operate with some unascertainable rotation method which left us wondering who to order from, who would be bringing our drinks once we ordered them, and ultimately who held our ticket and who to pay. It was confusing, and not efficient by any means.
I will say though, that the atmosphere was cool. Having a patron operated jukebox is always a plus in my book, as is multiple dart board with a clearly designated "throw zone," and ample pool tables. The private club element is aggravating upon being asked to provide extensive personal details to merely get in the doorway, but can be cancelled out easily by being one of the [incredibly] few remaining establishments that allow indoor smoking.
As was the case in this visit, I would not refuse an invitation from a friend to go here based solely on this opinion, but I won't be placing it on my active favorite locations list either.
TL:DR- Terrible first impression that lingered well past leaving the establishment. Not enough redeeming qualities to redeem it to a position...

Read moreCame into town for work and looked up relaxing atmosphere bars and this place kept popping up. They have a fantastic space for dart competitions and a pool table. Amanda and Brandi are absolutely amazing bartenders as well as the other female bartender. Sorry I don't remember her name.
