China Gourmet — Restaurant in Gastonia

Spent around 75$ for 3 ppl to eat. My daughter had 2 piece of her 4 Chicken on the stick that were raw. No apologies given, just same pieces of chicken dropped.. then I asked for my honey chicken to be EXTRA CRISPY...were not! I said something and they took the to go boxes back... And did absolutely nothing with them! Hunter's son came to me raising his voice and said " I seen them drop them back in the wok and make extra crispy, the sauce make them soft'🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ ummm no sir! I seen threw the curtain that wasn't closed...y'all did absolutely nothing to the chicken. I have been going in there for 16 yrs and absolute worst service tonight with his son and some woman. The prices have gotten high for smaller portions and they can't cook the food the way...

Food: I order curry chicken at this restaurant. It really didn’t taste like curry but something amazing they created. It was between Szechuan style and traditional Chinese food. Flavor had kind of burned smoky flavor that I loved it! Chicken was tender and veggies were cooked proper.

Service: There service was quick abs friendly. Two guys at counter were fast and very friendly and kind.

Atmosphere: Great restaurants with few sitting both for quick lunch or dinner. I guess there business Moto is grab and go. Still nice size of small restaurant if you ever want to eat inside.

Food was good, nothing special. Service very friendly, the facilities bright and clean. The only negative was that the order of Kung Pao Chicken should have been called Kung Pao Carrot. Fully 2/3 of the container (conservative estimate) was chunked carrots. The garlic shrimp was more balanced with ingredients. I'd like to post an update. At the insistence of friends who love the place, I've gone back numerous times since my first post. I've not had another negative experience. Probably the best egg rolls I've had anywhere.
