🤢👎🏿THE WORSE WAFFLE HOUSE EXPERIENCE EVA. I WENT IN ON SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2024 AROUND 2P.M. & THEY WERE TAKING TO-GO ORDERS ONLY & I PLACED AN ORDER FOR 5 PLATES. THE COOK COUGHED IN THE COOLER & OVA THE FOOD WHILE COOKING. THE WAITRESS BLESS HER HEART WAS SO CONFUSED TRYING TO GET THE ORDER OUT THAT SHE CONFUSED THE COOK & ME. THE TO-GO CONTAINERS HAD CHANGED FROM PLATES TO STYROFOAM TRAYS. KOOL I UNDERSTAND, BUT I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY I GOT A SCOOP OF GRITS PER PLATE IN THE LITTLE SIDE POCKET, BURNT BACON SO HARD HE COULDN'T EVEN CHOP IT ON DA CHOPPING BOARD SO HE JUST THREW THEM IN DA TRAY & HE TOOK TWO EGGS & SPLIT THEM BETWEEN ALL 4 TRAYS & THAT WAS JUST NOT AN ACCEPTABLE MEAL FOR MY FAMILY. SO I ASKED THE COOK TO BRING THE PLATE TO ME SO I COULD LOOK OVER INTO IT & I ASKED "HOW MUCH WAS THE PLATE???" & THE WAITRESS ANSWERED "$10.47." I ASKED BOTH OF THEM "WOULD THEY PAY $10.47 FOR THOSE PLATES???" THE WAITRESS LAUGHED & SAID "I'LL GO GET THE MANAGER." THE MANAGER CAME OUT & I EXPRESSED TO HIM "SIR, I AM NOT TRYING TO GET OVA I JUST WANT ENOUGH FOOD ON THE PLATE FOR THE PRICE TO FEED MY FAMILY." THE MANAGER (TRISTIN) TOLD ME THAT OBVIOUSLY ALL THE YEARS I HAVE EVA CAME HERE BEFORE I HAVE BEEN GIVEN TOO MUCH FOOD." I TOLD TRISTIN "I DON'T WANNA FIGHT OR ARGUE I JUST WANT THEM TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT BECAUSE IT'S THE RIGHT THANG TO DO & GOD WILL BLESS THEM EVEN MORE." (TRISTIN) GOT UPSET😡 & SAID "WELL GOD TOLD ME YOU CAN'T HAVE THIS FOOD & HE THREW ALL 5 TRAYS INTO THE GARBAGE CAN." I TOLD HIM "YOU NOT HURTING ME...U JUST THREW AWAY $50 OF YOUR OWN FOOD DUMMY." & I WALKED OUT. I HAVE BEEN EATING @ THAT WAFFLE HOUSE SINCE THE 90'S, BUT I WILL NEVA GIVE THEM ANOTHER DIME OF MY $$$. TIMES IS HARD FOR EVERYONE, BUT I WILL NOT ACCEPT BAD SERVICE & BAD BEHAVIOR...

Let me explain the 1 star.

I stopped here to hopefully get a break and calm down from an autistic overload. I did not expect to walk in to a Waffle House full of employees who were shouting, cursing, and yelling at one another. My husband and I along with my two children first hand witnessed an employee step in between two others who were squaring up to each other. I do commend the one blonde lady for sticking up for what was right and defending the pregnant employee who was being treated poorly, however no part of the situation was professional or handled properly. I personally do not believe that the aggressor should’ve been allowed to continue to work in an environment that she was obviously making stressful for everyone.

Teamwork and cooperation are two things that these employees lack as a whole, along with respect and compassion for one another.

Finally, we did not receive the proper amount of silverware until having to have asked twice and already having our food in front of us. I asked for creamer from a lady who wasn’t my serve and she just looked at me and didn’t say anything, rolled her eyes, and finally after about 3 minutes received the creamer. The waffle pans were surrounded with dough and not pleasant in appearance. No gloves on any employee that I seen.

Food was just like any other Waffle House other than that.

Not sure what has happened here. James not there anymore. Not sure what he did but we want him back. New cooks not cutting it. New York dude got way too much attitude disrupting the entire place. Teresa is heaven sent but can only put with so much. Ordered omelet got burnt scrambled eggs, ordered waffle, was cold by time I got it. Wife Ordered omlet was leaking grease and not fluffy, hash browns on both orders lacking ham, tomatoes, green peppers. Tasha is was nice but something has the people there not happy.
