New China II — Restaurant in Gautier

New China holds a very special place in my heart. It has become a tradition that every Christmas Eve me and my family order Chinese food from here, and we have been doing that for over 7 years. However, we do occasionally order from here at random times throughout the year because they’re so good. My favorite things to order are lo mein with the crunchy noodles, egg foo young, and sometimes I get the fried doughnuts. I like putting soy sauce and sriracha on my lo mein personally. The Chow Mein is also good. New China is a staple of Vancleave and a great place to eat. I highly recommend it. I’ve had Chinese food in big cities before, such as New York City, and I believe that New China is up to par with them. Great place with great memories...

I used to eat here quite often when my work commute was different. The food was very good. It was clean and there was a buffet pre COVID. I knew the owners and their children went to school with my children. Very nice people. My husband and I decided to eat there today, and I was surprised at the reviews but went in anyways. They had an A from health department posted and food was as good as it was before. There is no buffet and it is take out only. It looks like they may have experienced some hardship. I believe in supporting local. Maybe this community should try harder to support local and support this Asian restaurant. I challenge the citizens of...

Literally no food in this place with plywood for walls and Jello that has to be peeled prior to ingesting if you dare. Its quiet though..because noones there.but 8.50 for old food that lacks any originality at all.and has clearly been thawn out to be placed on the unheated buffet trays. If I could id give this place negative stars. Someone please close it down. I'd rather suck on a old sweaty sock than give then another dime..if I ever pass by and this place is closed then I'm gonna pull over and do my happy dance.. The gas station down the street had better food..only go here if you like to get food poisoning and waste 10$..worst...
