UPDATED VISIT!!! (3-16-2025)

I returned to this establishment on March 16th, 2025. I purchased three banana gobs and one chocolate gob. To my surprise they were stale and hard as a rock! They must have been sitting there for a number of days. When I reached out and contacted them an hour after purchasing them. The only response I received was I will let the owner know about it. No effort was made to rectify or correct the situation. A big disappointment! And they are considered to have the best Gobs or Whoppie pies in Johnstown? After my experience, I would consider them having the worst in Johnstown. That will be the last time I will visit this establishment. Attached is a photo showing how dry the Gob was. I broke a small piece on the top to show the dryness of the gob.

I was visiting from out of town and I wasn't sure what to expect upon entering this business. The first thing that caught my attention was how cozy of an atmosphere there was at this business. The coziness actually draws you into their delightful treats which are displayed in full view. They are known for their gobs (whoppie pies) and their custom cakes. I cannot comment on their cakes because I haven't tried them, however the gobs are very good. I also purchased their monster cookies which come in a plastic container (6 count). Ordered birthday cake...German chocolate...got a pre-made cake with unmixed marshmallow and some chocolate buttercream slathered on cake. Just a slight garnishment of actual coconut pecan icing placed on top layer of cake with the horrible other icing under it. The writing on top was barely legible as to what it said. All in all cake ended up looking like a giant pile of .... Just change name of store to "whatever cake we already have made, that's what you get"... Nearly all details asked for were ommited! Not worth the cost or time wasted...

I purchased a dozen raisin cookies several days ago. They were $8.99/doz. I did not mind the price IF they were good. Unfortunately, I can't consciously recommend anyone to purchase the cookies. The body of the cookie is hard, tasteless and very dry. The raisin filling, if you could find it, was minimal and tasteless also. I will never go there again.
