The Orchard Tavern — Restaurant in Geistown

I try to always be optimistic but honestly the restaurant had no good qualities to it. From the start we walked in and the place smelled like cigarettes. We got seated and found out our server’s name was Jodi not from her telling us but from the receipt we got. She came only to take our orders and bring our food 20 minutes at a time… with the food coming with so much in between you would expect the food to come out hot and fresh but no. When I received my wings I took a bite and it was cold… I waited almost an hour to get them and they were cold. I chased down my server to inform her and she came back with them microwaved. The chicken was dry and sat in a puddle of sauce. All four different wing sauces I tried all failed to mask the quality of the chicken. One of my pictures shows a sign that says “if you can remember the last time you had wings this good… welcome back” I’d agree with that sign if you replace good with putrid. We ordered DoorDash, and we got the wings which were amazing, I’m glad I got to get one bite before my kid and fiancé devoured them. The poutine was okay they were all mixed together and stuck but the flavors were definitely there. The pizza was absolutely terrible. I don’t know if it was the dough or sauce or maybe even the cheese. You can tell it’s that weird white cheese that just kinda sticks to the pizza and it’s a solid mess. The sauce wasn’t bad. It literally took the guy 7 mins to get here and he had the pizza in an isolated bag, so my pizza shouldn’t taste hard this is the type of pizza you got at the old planet ice for $1. It honestly tasted like pizza left in the box overnight for 2 days and then reheated. I’m in no means trying to hurt this business I would love to try their burgers one day! Just an...

Don't waste your money on their quesadillas. You're going to get more tortilla than chicken (or whatever meat you decide). First picture is my first order I complained about (also forgot my sour cream & extra salsa that was paid for).. I called them and she was very nice, stated if I could come back for a new one, I said yes and she said she would check the order before I got there. I arrived, and was immediately told it will look the exact same way my first one did because that's the amount of chicken that goes in. So I was already disappointed. 2nd picture is the 2nd quesadilla... Again disappointed. I truly expected more from what I heard...
