Bob's Original Pizza — Restaurant in Genesee Charter Township

This is a good pizza place although I would have liked more sauce. You must love cheese because they use a lot of it but it's the good stuff. The toppings are ground down really well like the ground beef which I could really appreciate I don't like big chunks of meat. The dough seems like it was hand rolled and had a nice light garlicky flavor with a little bit of crisp. The breadsticks were hand twisted. They were little doughy but I think the flavor was there. We got the ultimate which I thought might be too heavy for the crust cuz they had so many toppings but it held up well. The mushrooms for canned which I would have preferred fresh but the ham in the ground beef and the sausage and a bacon and all that stuff was really tasty. I would definitely order here again but get a side of sauce you can dip it in. The ranch tasted homemade I don't know if it was but it seems like it and it was really good. The service was excellent it was ready when they said it's a little off the beaten path that's on main roads but it's kind of way out in the country between two main cities. there are other things in the area there's a nice taco place and some other shopping options and a golf course. I have to say after two visits, Bob's utterly smashed it! Pizza was excellent and cannot be used in the same sentence as their corporate competitor next door. But that's not the whole story. The people who work here were an absolute delight, thus 5 stars for atmosphere. In both visits, they had pizza ready in less time than I expected and were lovely to interact with.

This unpretentious facade hides a real jewel, epitomizing what a terrific family owned business can be. It goes without saying that I will be back. It seems to be better every time.

Having been back, I can comfortably recommend their full dinners too. And I don't want to forget to mention that I found their flat bread pizza to be excellent. Find in the appetizers.

Lovely people, lovely food. Never disappointed after over 20 visits. Highly recommend!

The workers, Amber and Christie give me hope in humanity. I travel A LOT and never have I ever felt more welcomed in any pizza shop than here. I honestly didn’t want to leave.

I came in and wasn’t sure what to order however Christie helped me out through the whole process. I had a personal pizza with extra cheese, steak and chicken. It was delicious. Better and cheaper than Pizza Hut. Everything held together. The crust wasn’t too hard and the sauce wasn’t too much or too little. It was made just right. I wish I grabbed two.

While I waited for my pizza to be done, I didn’t stand around in silence. Amber and Christie opened conversation with me and filled me up with laughs. I got to know a bit about them and the company and they also took the time to get to know me. I came in as a total stranger and left feeling like a friend. Definitely would recommend this place to a friend 10/10.
