El Potrero — Restaurant in Genesee Charter Township

After hearing great things about El Adobe, my fiancé and I finally decided to give it a try. I am nearing the end of my first trimester and actually finding food that I want and sounds appealing is super tricky (you know what I mean). We arrived an hour to close (I myself being a server never mind if guest come in an hour to close, that means the table will probably be out just as quitting time hits). Upon entering the restaurant the young man who greeted us was incredibly rude. He literally threw our silverware and menus on the table with such force they slid ALL the way across. I am uncomfortable as it is and was not certain I wanted Mexican food and this act alone had me ready to leave. The waitress showed up and I could tell she was smiley but tired at the end of her shift, understandably so as it was 9 at night and who knows when she got there. My fiancé explained we would need a moment as I was expecting and indecisive. I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes with the sauce on the side and was SUPER pleased with my choice. By the end of the meal Tonya was a fantastic waitress and even though the gentlemen spoiled my initial feeling of the restaurant, it is definitely a place I would recommend. Seems to me black lives doesn't matter at this location. If I call trying to place an order and you tell me give you a second that's cool, but to place me on hold for over 10 minutes and then refuse to answer when I try to call back is beyond me. Only this location has treated me like this. I'm a loyal customer to the franchise itself I've eaten at the Swartz Creek location I've eaten on Fenton road and I started my journey with you guys in Grand Blanc only complaint I have is at the Mount Morris location it's like you guys monitor your customers phone numbers or calls and I guess certain people get answered and certain people don't get answered because I called just recently the place in order it's like the third or fourth time I'll call and try to place an order and I'm being told give me a minute hold on a sec I agree but then I'm sitting on the phone for 10 15 20 minutes then I try to hang up and call no answer treat all your customers as equal is...

Just tried to eat there, walked in floor was dirty had food under are table, ordered gave us chips with salsa before we had our drinks, chips had no taste, they had our food to the table in less than 5 minutes. Had the quesadilla gigante i think, beef was cold cheese wasn't melted, had no flavor it was beef in a flower tortilla with cheese, on the side was lettuces, small cup sour cream and small cup chopped tomatoes.
