Went in for some ice cream. The worker said they didnāt have any. No worries there. I checked the app before coming in and the app said ice cream was available. I let the worker know the app needed updated for product availability and he said āgood for youā very rudely. I went in to make a customer complaint.
No one came to the counter until about 5 minutes after I came in. When making the complaint to the manager I was immediately disregarded. She said āwe arenāt serving ice creamā I said āIām aware, Iām not upset by that, Iām upset your drive through employee was disrespectful and rudeā. She then walked away from me and ignored me, I told her āI wasnāt done making my complaintā and she said āI have a business to runā. I said āIām still trying to make a complaintā. She said āyouāre just upset about ice creamā. I said āagain, no, Iām upset about your employee being disrespectful.ā She then proceeded to get very close to me and then yelled saying I was threatening her. I asked if this was a corporate or franchise store. She said that was none of my business. I asked her for her bossās number. She told me I didnāt need that. I said again I just need your bossās number. She said no. She then screamed to get out of her store. She then told her employees to close the lobby and lock me in until the police came. At this point I really just want a number to call. Iām not trying to deal with a police report.
When she went to grab her phone, she walked over to a customer complaint poster that I hadnāt seen when I walked in. She ripped the poster down and refused to let me call the number. At this point, she began to walk to the door to lock me in, I left the building and drove off.

FIRST OF ALL this McDonalds is actually pretty good as far as friendly and quick and Usually gets our order right BUT on this visit we ordered 1 unsweetened tea and 1 unsweetened tea w splenda in it and 1 sweet tea. Ok so I can see how you may get confused once ok I'll give them that but they got it wrong 4 times even after we explained it to girl at food pick up window, we even suggested that tea pots were both sweet tea or got switched around and we finally ended up just taking the 4th and last messed up tea because we were over it. She only screwed up the one but screwed it up 4 times. So that's frustrating but it wasn't for lack of her trying. We seen she was trying to correct the mistake and they were busy so I'm sure she was frustrated also but that's not the only reason why I gave them a 3. At the beginning I started w oh boy and usually because it's not the first or second or even 3rd mess up it's just the most recent. I know these fast food workers are getting hit so much harder than they used to so I'm an understanding person and I've worked as a waitress my whole life so I GET IT, I PROMISE BUT Slow down a bit so there's less errors and HOPEFULLY managers are cutting there employees a little slack right now on there window timed bull to get cars in and out however that ACTUALLY TAKES LONGER BECAUSE THEN THERE ARE A GAZILLION SCREW UPS BECAUSE PEOPLE R TRYING TO MOVE SO FREAKING FAST THAT ORDERS GET CONFUSED, THEY'RE HUMAN, IT HAPPENS. Iām tired of the game of having cars line up waiting to order because the employees are on a timer to serve quickly - the game is the customer sits & waits while the employees serve one customer at a time completely through the line of paying & receiving food in order to keep their service times within the standards set by corporate. This causes a delay & inconvenience for the customer. Using the app is a complete joke now when trying to order ahead & pickup inside. You have to ask for your cup, if you drink tea you are expected to fill it up with ice then return it to the counter, wait until someone notices you then they will fill it up (mornings) - this is not due to a lack of ice as I can hear it working for the drive thru behind the counter where all the employees are. Also you will wait a minimum of 10 minutes for your order once you arrive & get to wait in a lobby with a bunch of otherās who are also not happy. I have zero issues with the employees as far as theyāre very friendly but definitely see a lack of effort to keep the process of FAST food moving as it should. One last complaint is the fries are always half full unless you order a small. Iām confident McDonaldās makes enough $$ to fill the container as it should be.
