The New Jester's — Restaurant in Genesee Charter Township

Never had any problems until yesterday December 22nd. There was a bartender, waitress whichever it was so snotty to me and a few friends as soon as we walked into the facility. When we made a complaint to the owners wife at the end of the night she was also snotty and rude so I politely had her go get the owner. Because she’s only the wife she honestly doesn’t have a say so that matters. The owner was more polite but also tried to make as what we were saying didn’t matter. We never wanted to get anyone fired or cause any problems we just wanted the owner to be aware because it is a business and all businesses should keep a positive and friendly atmosphere. We definitely were treated differently because of RACE and I will be contacting BBB or contacting the state in some way since we weren’t treated equally or our positive complaint wasn’t taken into consideration 😊 my parents are regulars there since I was a kid, but I will make it to where they don’t get ANY business after last night. And I know they’re RACISTS because there are some friendly and polite workers there that knew we meant no harm and apologized for the waitress or bartenders behavior and told us that that same worker always gets bad complaints. He would be better off running the business and they explained to us well so we appreciate the two men that listened to us and...

I love the pool tables, food, staff. The food is excellent and tasty with some to take home. I have had salad, burgers, cheese bllsa. Jalapeño poppers, soup. The atmosphere is low light, slower older music before 9 pm. So many cool things and memorabilia on the walls. Soda is bubbly and not too sweet. Drinks are generous. Steak and veggies looked amazing. The bouncers are cool and I always feel safe. I have never heard anyone complain about any food there only good words. The bartenders are knowledgeable and helpful. Came with a party of 4 early Saturday evening (first time visit). Alley was our server and she was very good. Two of us ordered Fish and Chips, one ordered the Big Sicilian and the last one a Chicken Greek wrap. Everyone liked the food except for me. I thought the fish was ok, but the french fries I didn't like at all (too greasy) and the tartar sauce was awful.
