Cafe Sarina — Restaurant in Georgetown

so ever since i saw them post a photo on their facebook page of a caesar salad with fried chicken and bacon, i’ve been meaning to try it. finally got around to it yesterday, and did not regret it. this is a step up from a caesar salad you’d get at most sub/pizza shops, and even a lot of sit down spots. for one, the dressing is clearly homemade. homemade caesar dressing anywhere is a rarity. they usually all have a similar processed taste, but you can tell when you get the real thing…this was the real deal, and delicious. the croutons also had to have been homemade. the chicken was great. crispy on the outside, tender and inside, flavorful breading. bacon was crispy and tasty. it’s a great add on as the bacon mixes well with the creamy dressing. comes with the perfect amount of parmesan cheese. the lettuce itself was a healthy green color and crispy. the bowl was large, it’s a big salad and i felt like i got my moneys worth. i asked for a side of tomatoes, and they gave me what must’ve been the equivalent of a whole tomato, 6 or 7 very thick slices, so that was awesome(the most tomato’s i’ve ever received as a side and i’ve made the same strange request at at least 100 places). the one thing i will say is that while the dressing is fantastic, they do put a lot of it on, so unless you like a lot, i recommend saying light on the dressing or getting it on the side. overall, it was a great salad. the workers are friendly, and the vibe is interesting. it’s as classy as it is kid friendly, and as kid friendly as it is classy. i recommend checking it out if you...

This cafe is wonderful! My family and I have eaten here a few times and really enjoyed the food and the vibe, so my sister threw a bridal shower for me here last weekend. They did SUCH a wonderful job with everything! The food and cake were excellent, they set the room up beautifully with florals from Nunan's and the decor my sister provided, and all of the staff were pleasant and helpful. My sister said the ladies she planned it with were easy to work with and quick to help, and went above and beyond to make sure we were all set. My kiddo was even able to get a round of mini-golf in when she got bored with the adults! It was a fantastic day and I HIGHLY recommend having your event at Cafe Sarina! Cafe Sarina, and the garden mini golf they also offer there, a true delight. staff is incredibly friendly and the food is amazing. The mini golf is like an oasis—you mini golf through 18 holes of beautifully landscaped garden features that are labeled with plant names. The cafe offers both breakfast and lunch. All the food I’ve had there is delicious—especially the fresh chicken tenders.

They also can host birthday parties. We had a fabulous experience hosting a birthday party there recently—first the kids do a round of mini golf, and then eat pre-picked out meals in the cafe followed by ice cream also from the cafe.
