Cornelio's — Restaurant in Georgetown

Impeccable Mexican cuisine.

Moving here from Texas, my wife and I never imagined finding a quality Mexican restaurant in Illinois, let alone in Georgetown.

This was not a "quality" Mexican restaurant, this place tops the cake!

We had chimis, the combo number 2, and of course their chips and salsa. The enchilada sauce was off the charts good. The beans... omg, the beans have a particular seasoning that makes me want more. Portion sizes we terrific. We took some home!!!

Our waiter was also the highlight of our date night. He was quick on his feet, very respectful, he was happy and attentive. Not always something you get other places.

The food and portion sizes were great the first day they opened. My family order again 2 or 3 weeks after the opening and the food was good but portion sizes decreased slightly. The order was wrong and food was forgotten but corrected. Unfortunately after being open for two months and giving it a 3rd try. Ordering the same food. Items were still forgotten, portion sizes were much less,flavor..... what flavor?!?! and the prices have increased significantly! At this rate they won't be in business much longer. Which is very...

I am looking forward to returning and experiencing other selections on the menu. The atmosphere and music was wonderful. The place was super clean. Food and service was top notch. The chips and salsa were great. Such a wide variety of food on the menu. There is something for everyone. Took half of my food home, but left stuffed!! Great job for a new restaurant.. keep up the good work and you will definitely...
