McDonald's — Restaurant in Georgetown

FROM A WORRIED MOTHER TO ALL OTHER MOTHERS "I took my kids to McDonald's in Georgetown, IL this evening to grab some food, I ordered what everyone wanted, My daughter wanted apples with carmel & my boys wanted carmel for their apples that came in their Happy meal, I told the lady that I wanted 3 (THREE) containers of Carmel, little did i know, they quit serving the actual carmel for apples, so she informed me that it was the carmel topping for the sundaes, i said that would be fine, but i needed 3 (THREE) of them, so I pulled up, paid for my food & then i pulled up to get my food, I had to pretty much argue with the lady because she tried to hand me 1 (ONE) sundae cup half full of carmel, I informed her that i have a child that has strep throat & he does not need to dip his apples in the same carmel as the other 2, She tried to give me 2 extra empty cups to split the carmel up, I had reminded her that I paid for 3 (THREE) sides of carmel, but would be happy to pay for 2 more, she ended up just giving me 2 more things of carmel, not a big deal, but if I pay for something or 3 (THREE) of something, I expect to RECEIVE it... So we got our food & we left, I got half way to where I was going & thought that i had better check the bag, so I pulled over... guess what, they forgot my daughters apples (imagine that)... So I had to go back to McDonalds (Time number 2) wasn't to happy, but whatever it takes to make my kids happy! Got her apples, got to where we were going, I took my childrens food in & told them to go ahead & start eating, while I unloaded the truck. Got the truck unloaded & my son brings his Cheeseburger patty to me... I thought maybe there wasn't enough mustard or pickles to his liking & we would have to add more! Gosh, do I wish that was the case! My mouth hit the floor when he got closer to me & could see what was wrong with his food (picture below) Apparently someone wasn't paying attention to what they were doing while making the food, and my sons cheeseburger ended up with a label for the cheese in the middle of it. I was EXTREMELY ticked off at this point of time. So I had to go BACK to McDonalds (3rd time), this time I went in, went to the counter & a guy who was sitting, eating his food (possibly lunch) got up and came to the counter & asked if he could help me, I said, I need to speak to a manager please, he said I am the manager, what can I do for you? I unwrapped the cheeseburger & showed him & said I need something done about this! His mouth hit the floor as well as mine did! He apologized, took it to the back, told them to make another one & to make it "right" this time. That instantly went threw me, should you really have to tell your employees to make something right? I thought they got paid to make things the way you ordered them without any extra labels. Anyway the manager took my reciept & asked me how long it was since I was in there & I said less than 20 minutes ago, he then refunded my money for the Happy Meal. In the meantime of the new cheeseburger getting made, I asked the manager the name of the person that made that cheeseburger because I was going to call the 1-800 number & definatley report this, he said he wasn't sure who made it, I said well could you go ask, He said "I was back there when they made it" & that was it, I wanted to really cut loose on this guy at this time, just for making that remark. Then a lady that was working handed me a bag with a new cheeseburger in it & told me to check it because they had just made it. I opened up the new cheeseburger & they had put like 5 dots of mustard and 1 pickle, i shook my head, looked at the manager, informed him that "this place was completely ridiculous" & left. So please be careful when ordering fast food that you can't see be made. I am sure glad that I am OCD and have to check my food before I eat it & my kids picked up on it too, otherwise my son would of eaten a nasty label...

Okay I went to McDonald's in Georgetown today and I ordered a frappy they got it wrong when I got it there was no ice in it so it was runny and warm. Then I ordered a Diet Coke that was flat and the girl at the drive-thru wouldn't even look at me, had a frown on her face and said have a nice day. I know the owners would not appreciate that

Okay wanted to give an update have been through several times and the order taker is very slow the people that work at the window that give you your food don't have a clue they give you wrong food they don't give you your drink or they give you the wrong drink and they act like they don't even want to be at work can somebody please get someone in that place that knows what they're doing!!

And that goes for the managers like the one that has red hair and the guy that has the skin problem on his arms they constantly get it wrong. Just today he gave me regular Coke for diet Coke again I have to tell them to add ice or Coke because they only fill it 3/4 full we are going to start driving an extra 10 miles and go to the McDonald's...

Ordered our food....waited....more people got their orders...waited...one lady asks for a refund...she got the normal not our fault excuses that they didn't have her item available for 7 min. Another guy complained and then they had his food(part of my order) finally 28 min later they present my bag. Had to remind them about the drinks. I spend more than $300 A month here and told to move fwd in drive through, cold food, poor service(from most but not all) said I would take my money elsewhere and employment told me that's fine. Before I came across the counter I walked out. Avoid this place. They get worst and worst. Managment acts like you don't matter and should be thankful to eat there. They are slow. Almost no one that works there has customer service. Employees are dirty. No sanitation occurs. Dirty finger nails lack of glove use. Coughing..ect. flies all the time. Tables may be clean 50/50 chance. Done with the benefit of the doubt. I feel bad for the very few good workers they have. Calling...
