Today was the LAST TIME we will ever visit your establishment. Itâs sad and unfortunate due to the fact that we really âdidâ enjoy Baskin Robbins and have for decades. We chose to visit and trade with your store because you are local and were convenient. I will drive the extra 20 minutes next time to a competitors establishment. The time before this (approximately a month ago) I vowed was my last time as I wanted to give you guys one more chance - this time was an even more unpleasant experience than the time before and this genuinely was our last time to the âlocalâ ice cream shop. Your staff just doesnât seem to care. They exuded laziness and an overall lack of focus on the task at hand - very sad if I were in your shoes. For starters, I timed my wait time to be served, it was 4 minutes and 37 seconds before I was greeted by anyone and I was the only person in line and when I was finally greeted, there were no smiles and welcoming display of thanks for coming in today to our establishment, instead it was sulks and a somber look of being angered by my presence. The second flaw was the cleanliness (or lack thereof). Very dirty where food was to be prepared - floors and restrooms were also very dirty. And lastly, the person that waited on me âappearedâ to be perhaps the manager and showed no enthusiasm even after I smiled and said hello - I was greeted with what do you want? I wanted to say, Iâm happy and about to get ice cream and why are you in such a bad mood but I obviously refrained from such behavior. When I asked for a banana split and requested the standard toppings (pineapple and strawberry), the person taking my order stated that you donât have them (strawberry and pineapple) and even went so far as to insinuate that these toppings donât come with a banana split and that she had never âheardâ of those two toppings being put in a banana split and said âeverâ with emphasis. She said she only had fudge and caramel. As wee were in the process and my wanting to remain calm and courier I said ok. I did get a âlittleâ whipped cream, however no nuts and not even one cherry.
Very sad that employees (especially those in management positions) have so little regards to continue to carry the owners dreams forward and to actually care so little and have such blatant disregard for quality and actually trying to do the right thing. Again, my visits wonât matter to you and your franchise, but perhaps this review âmightâ spur action on your organization to retrain or perhaps even offer better more incentivized training to staff or even consider the more radical approach and closing your store as your name is attached to this franchise and I assure you that my family (and hopefully others) will not patronize this store anymore. Perhaps you should âshopâ your own store to see exactly what Iâm referring too. If I personally canât deliver top notch service and attach my name to what I intend on delivering to my customers in my industry, then I refuse to be apart of such a lackluster company/organization - the franchiser should re-evaluate his/her relationship with your store.    Read moreThey were out of chocolate, so I tasted 3 other flavors to find a suitable substitute. Was not happy with the Rocky Road that I ended up ordering - all marshmallows and about 10% chocolate ice cream. Must have been a bad mix. The waffle cones that we ordered were also stale. I purchased for 2 people and spent $12. Nobody was happy with their order. The Peanut Butter chocolate was overloaded with too much Peanut Butter. I threw my Rocky Road away and decided to try the Mint Chocolate Chip instead. When I went to place my second order, the juvenile boy with black hair and glasses said I could not have another sample. He said they had a 3 sample limit. I assumed the sample limit was per order, but when I questioned him on it, he said no. He did know how to count to 3, but I think someone needs to clarify the sample rule with him. According to him I have exhausted my sample limit for the rest of my life. After his response I did not place my second order of course. He did save the company less than 1 penny on the 1 sample, but incurred an immediate $4 sales loss and a much larger loss in lost potential sales with this customer. They were out of waffle cones. Another time they gave me a waffle cone that taste 6yrs old!! Thought I'd try them one more time today to try the new sour blast drink... What do you know...? "Sorry we are out of the ice cream to make that". I'm done with them. I'll just stop at a location closer to Atlanta when I have a hunch for ice cream.
