Not many options for good food in Young Harris - especially on a Sunday. This is the best of the few options available. The restaurant is rather small with about 14 tables and two pool tables inside. There is a really large and nice fireplace (which needed to be on as it was chilly in there) and a good bit of outdoor seating for nice days. The food was okay but definitely nothing great. The resort appears pretty nice with an intentional old time feel. The lobby is really nice with simple older decor and a beautiful fireplace which is replicated in the restaurant.

Had the fish and chips. The great thing is that everything came out nice and hot. The fish was flaky and tasted great. The fries were good and not over salted. My wife had a fench dip. I had half of it and it good. Overall the food was good. The decor looks like the inside of a dated man's office. Lots of dark colors. It had just raided but there is great outdoor seating.

Blake was such a blessing of a person and server. We were visiting the area from FL with some friends. We really wanted to sit outside and he asked to make that happen. The food was great and beautiful views outside. Thank you again!! šŸ’œ

This is a nice little restaurant tucked within the Brasstown Valley Resort. The grounds of Brasstown are beautiful and it's a pleasant scenic drive up to the lodge. Finding Brassies is tricky because there are no signs telling you where it is. It is in the lodge, downstairs. The food is typical hotel restaurant fare. The service was excellent and everything was tasty. They asked me what temperature I wanted for my burger, I said medium. I received well done, but it's a burger. It was still delicious and juicy. The fries, which were an upcharge, were not golden brown. They were okay, but nothing special. My wife got a prime rib panini that she said was delicious. The bag of chips she got were Miss Vickie's, a good brand. The atmosphere was quaint, (it's a 19th hole so it was the typical plaid and golf motif.) There are billiards, a bar, and TVs, but it wasn't at all loud. We enjoyed it. I suspect there are better places in town to get a...

The first night the burger was not all the way done. The server was not very knowledgeable and kept stating they were trying a new system. The second night I got an order to go, the tortillas were hard, the fish for the fish tacos were overcooked to the point that they were hard. I had to ask for sour cream...chips and salsa were not given. Also there were not any onions or pico. I asked the server what chipotle aioli was and she said they did not have it and that they were trying a new system. This was a far different experience then I had last year when I went to Brassies. Additionally when I got to my room and bit into a taco that I put sour cream on, I discovered the scour cream was bad. With tip I paid about 14.00...very...

The food here was atrocious. We stopped in for a lunch on a Wednesday after horseback riding down the hill (which by the way was AMAZING) and we were the only people in there besides a couple playing pool and drinking beer. For 2pm on a Wednesday with no one there, you would expect to order a burger medium rare and get it back medium rare… BUT NOOOO. Whatever lazy cook they have back there has absolutely no excuse to not be able to cook a TWENTY DOLLAR burger to temperature. It’s literally so simple a freakin kindergartener can do it if taught properly. 10/10 DO NOT recommend for the food. But if we’re talking service and ambiance. Yeah sure, it’s nice....
