Service was great. The waiter was super polite, helpful and was available. All you can ask for. The atmosphere was a traditional Mexican restaurant. I will state, we had small children with us and they had a rated "R" movie playing on the TV screens. Not something you really want playing while eating dinner with your family. The food and drinks were not very good. We ordered a pitcher of Texas Margarita. Instead of putting an orange liquor in it, it had a peachy flavor. I am not sure if they ran out of what needed to go in the drink or what happened, but it did not taste like a Texas Margarita should taste. Once my food came out, it was completely burned. I did try to take a couple bites out just in case the ends were the only burnt areas but the rest was very burnt as well. The chicken was very crunchy even. Welcome to our favorite restaurant! We live close by, and come about twice per week. After trying other Mexican restaurants in the area multiple times, we’ve seen that the quality of the meats, cheese, lettuce, salsas, and more is very high. The service is above average, as they check on their customers multiple times rather than disappearing while we’re eating. I must mention the beauty of the restaurant! The paintings on the wall were all done by a man from Mexico, and if you check out the area upstairs, you’ll see more beautiful art that’s compatible with the area in which we live. Did a take out order & thought for a family of 3 we would spend roughly $40-$45 for dinner. Every one of us got a meal with no extras other than extra chips & salsa. It was SEVENTY DOLLAR! $70! When I went to get the food I asked for an itemized bill as I was rightfully surprised by the price, the people working were so incredibly rude & did not want to even let me see what I had paid for. The extra chips & salsa we paid for were in the smallest container possible. Food wasn’t bad, but I’ve had better around us. I am just absolutely shocked at the price. We won’t return.
