PUBLIC SAFTY ANOUNCEMENT: I WOULD LIKE TO LET ALL OF MY EMS, FIRE RESCUE,AND PUBLIC SAFTEY FRIENDS AND FAMILY IN BRUNSWICK, GA. AND ALL OF THE GOLDEN ISLES AREA KNOW THAT I FOUND OUT FROM ONE EMPLOYEE THAT WORKS AT THE DUNKIN DOUGHNUTS LOCATED AT 110 DUNGENESS ROAD BRUNSWICK, GA. 31523 THAT WE ARE NOT WELCOMED TO BE SERVED IF WE CANNOT FIT OUR VEHICLE IN A PARKING SPOT. I WAS JUST GETTING DONE WITH A TRANSFER TONIGHT AROUND 8:45pm WHEN I DECIDED THAT I NEEDED A CUP OF COFFEE FOR A BOOST OF CAFFEINE. AS I PULLED INTO THE DUNKING DOUGHNUTS, I SAW THE MALE EMPLOYEE SITTING IN THE LOBBY WITH THE HEADSET ON TALKING TO ANOTHER GUY AT THE TABLE WHERE THEY WERE BOTH SEATED. WHEN THE EMPLOYEE SEEN MYSELF, AS WELL AS THE VEHICLE THAT PULLED UP IN THE DRIVE THRU, HE GOT UP.
I WAS UNABLE TO FIT THE AMBULANCE THAT I WAS DRIVING IN THE TIGHT PARKING SPOT, SO INSTEAD OF BLOCKING THE GAS PUMPS AT THE GAS STATION CONNECTED WHILE I RAN IN FOR A CUP OF COFFEE, I PARKED BESIDE THE DRIVE THRU LINE WHERE MY AMBULANCE WAS NOT BLOCKING THE DRIVE THRU NOR WAS I BLOCKING THE ROADWAY IN THE PARKING LOT FOR ANYONE NEEDING TO GET BY ON EITHER SIDE SAFELY AND THE DRIVE THRU CUSTOMERS COULD BE SERVED WITHOUT HOLD UP. I THEN WENT INSIDE WHERE I WAS TOLD I HAD TO BE IN A PARKING SPOT TO BE SERVED. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO THE GUY BEHIND THE COUNTER THERE WASN'T ROOM FOR ME TO PARK MY VEHICLE EXCEPT WHERE I HAD SAFELY PARKED IT. THE DD EMPLOYEE REFUSED TO SERVE ME BECAUSE THE AMBULANCE WAS NOT IN A PARKING SPOT. I TOLD HIM "THAT'S FINE, I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS AS I FEEL THAT I AM NOT WELCOMED BUT I WILL GLADLY GO ACROSS THE STREET TO STARBUCKS." I LEFT DUNKIN & WENT OVER TO STARBUCKS WHERE I WAS SERVED. THE STAFF GLADLY SERVED ME & WELCOMED ALL PUBLIC SAFTEY MEMBERS - REGARDLESS OF THE SIZE OF...
Read moreI went here on a Wednesday morning to get a dozen donuts and a box of joe. I was the only person in line and one family was waiting for their order of hot chocolates. The worker asked what I wanted and said he'd be with me in a minute, he was making his coffee and I had a big orders. I waited almost 5 minutes for him to make his coffee and finally another person asked if she could help me. I placed my order again, she turned her back and grabbed a box and did not turn back around until she had filled the box with 12 random donuts, I shrugged it off because I really needed to get to work, the box of joe was another story. It took over 25 minutes. She poured the dregs from 3 coffee pots into the box and then had to make another pot. Another woman came over to finish filling it, dumped coffee all over the box and went to find a new one. Then took a funnel and dumped the coffee from the first box I to the second. I really expected to get coffee and donuts a lot quicker at a coffee and donut shop. The family waiting for their 3 hot chocolates left about 2...
Read moreI stop here because it’s convenient but unless I’m in a hurry I’ll probably drive out of the way from now one. The place was slammed which I understand and couldn’t go through the drive thru because it was in the road so I went inside. but when you’re slammed you should probably hustle. At least I do? And orders backed up so bad and there was a huge line so when they out the orders out they wouldn’t call a name so no one knew if theirs was done. The person cooking was by herself but again she wasn’t in a hurry and when she gave me my food FINALLY she was about as unpleasant as can be. I said thank you twice and you would have thought I told her to bug off. Not a smile in the place either. I get it you work at Dunkin and don’t make a lot of money but maybe there is a reason for that. Work ethic and personality go a long way. Oh and my drink was in the window for 20 mins and they recommend you order when you’re close to get the cold foam experience…yea...
