El Porton of Midway — Restaurant in Georgia

Bartender ended up being our server. He did a great job. Was attentive and brought out things ahead of time. ie.... extra napkins, waters, etc.... The food was good, no complaints. Unfortunately the reason the bartender was our server was that our original waiter just couldn't get it together. He said he would bring a high chair when we were seated and we requested one. 20 minutes later we asked again. 30 minutes later he let the mom in our group know where they were and she just went and grabbed one. Cheese dip same issue. Asked when they took the drink orders, asked when he came back. then again and he said no prob only takes a minute. When questioned if he ever put in the order since it only took a minute he said no. I informed him as nicely as possible that he was dropping the ball on more than one thing.( I came in with my 2 daughters after the rest of the party and it took about 15 minutes before he came to the table. His reply was "yeah and your'e not being cool about it. I'm about to ask another waiter to take your table" My 15 year old daughter felt like the guy was going to hit me. I felt a little threatened but didn't really sweat it. I wasn't cool when he sent the mom with the 10 month baby to get the high chair he said he was bringing twice. We asked for another waiter and the manager. Manager never showed up but other guy was cool and actually brought what was ordered once we...

Food quality has been going down hill for the last year. Stlll it was an ok value. Just went there and my food was a disaster. I order the Super Chimichanga which is described on the menu exactly as: two flour tortillas soft or deep-fried, grilled with beef or chicken topped with nacho cheese and a side of beans. garnished with guacamole salad and tomatoes.

I asked for mine crispy. What I got was two soggy tortillas filled with about three forks of chicken (total between the two) and a massive amount of grilled onions and peppers, these latter two ingredients not even listed on the menu. I wouldn't mind a little as flavoring, but for the tortillas to be 90 percent onions and peppers, just seems like robbery especially at the 9.95 price. I would guess there was maybe 75 cents worth of food. Wow what a mark up....sign me up for a franchise! Will find a real mexican restaurant next time. Feel bad for the...

I went their the other day to get an order to go. This older man kept interrupting me when I was trying to talk to the young lady in the front. He sent me to the bar side to place my order... No one was there! Waited 5 minutes till I went back to the other side to tell the young lady that no one was there. After the guy showed up I placed my order. Got my order and left. I wasn't so pleased with my order. The rice portion didn't even fill up the container. At other restaurants they give a bigger portion. The salsa tasted like Tostitos salsa. Ugh! Plain!
