Disappointing Experience at Great Wall: A Review of Chinese Cuisine

I recently ordered Chinese food from Great Wall for a cozy dinner with my girlfriend, hoping to enjoy a delightful meal together. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. My girlfriend, in particular, was greatly disappointed with her dish.

She opted for the crab meat dish, expecting a flavorful and satisfying treat. However, what she received was far from satisfactory. The crab meat was unusually thick, and the taste was simply unpleasant. My girlfriend described it as "nasty" and couldn't pinpoint exactly what was wrong with it, but it definitely tasted off.

It's unfortunate when a meal fails to meet expectations, especially when you're looking forward to enjoying it with someone special. In this case, the dish fell short in terms of both texture and flavor, leaving us with a less than enjoyable dining experience.

Idk about this place. Lots of positive reviews so I wish I had their experiences. I called with a menu question, the phone was picked up with no hello and sat down. When she came back she was super rushed so that felt unfriendly when I only had like a 10 second question. We ordered anyway. House fried rice had onions as big as my thumb nail. Nowhere close to a proper dice so I had to pick them out cuz they were huge and overwhelming. I think the scariest part is they stapled the carton to close it for the sweet and sour chicken pieces. That's a huge health code violation as that could've easily been eaten with disastrous consequences. So if anyone at this establishment reads this please don't do that again you could really hurt someone. Use something like an appetizer bag to cover the top if it's not closing the best. The staple really just kinda reinforced a lack of care for me after the rushed phone call. Such a shame because really the food was very tasty but terrible to have issues with 100% of the food...

I ordered Mongolian chicken completely unaware that it was going to show up sliced with peppers and all that because when i googled Mongolian chicken online the chicken i saw was nothing like the chicken i received from this place and I’ve ordered from this place numerous of times, the lady on the phone was less than helpful and accommodating when i told her about the mishap because no where online does it say that Mongolian chicken comes sliced, i threw that ish in the trash because if i wanted sliced chicken I’d order sliced chicken , if you look up Mongolian chicken online it won’t look nothing like what i received last night, she talking about that’s Mongolian chicken girl that’s straight up stir fry if i ever seen that shit forreal now.
