Blake(the owner) is young, respectful, ambitious, and very kind. I came in for lunch with my guy. I will start by saying that I grew up in the Chicago area. I thought I would dive into their version of the Chicago Style Italian Beef. At first glance, the sandwich appears understated. However, I was pleased with the outcome. The sub roll was fresh and buttery. The beef was tender, not overcooked and savory, not salty or chewy. The provolone was melted and fully covered the sandwich. The ghiardinera wasn't oily and had great flavor(I personally would request more of it next time). The au jus was served on the side in a tall cup with enough to cover the whole sandwich. I had a Mug's Rootbeer and a bag of Sun Chips as well. If you have ever been to the Chicago area for a Portillo's Italian Beef, these are not the same. They are doing their own thing here, and it works 💪 !! Keep it up. I will be back to try more.

Cute, clean and nice staff - comfy booths/tables for all sizes. Great food. We prefer to other sub shops, but must come in to order. Tip - nice RV stop. Winn Dixie is beside the shop and a dollar store, gas station and others are in the plaza. Usually adequate parking for an RV and tow. Fairly easy in and out with exits to two roads. Blythe Island Regional Park is close and an easy on/off with water views, pier, picnic tables, new accessible playground, restrooms, and walking trails. Has a laid back old fashioned southern coastal vibe. Expect a friendly rabbit to hop over to the table if you picnic! We often picnic there and watch the big container ships across the river. Well worth a stop! (This store doesn’t allow online ordering through the Larry’s app and they rarely answer the phone so no pick up orders.)

We definitely need this spot in my home town. In my opinion it rates way better than some of the big brand chain sub spots. The service is A1. The sandwich and salad we ordered was top notch. You can't go wrong with Larry's. Not to mention the staff is so helpful with service they will not allow you to go wrong. My turkey giant was made just as I ordered. Sloppy and wet. I'd like to say Larry's is neck and neck for da #1 spot with SubWay.

I've been here several different times of day. And I would say today was the absolute worst day that I received a sandwich from this Larry's. I have went months or weeks without eating at this location because the young ladies that work in this location always seem to be preoccupied with other things on their mind other than making a decent sandwich. If it's not other things that's preoccupying their minds where they can't focus on making a meat and a complete sandwich like it's supposed to be made, they must be racist😞

Today they were not nice and pleasant when you walked in the door they did not greet you also when the sandwich was complete the girl just up on the counter and was like here you go when all the many times before I've had the places the other Larry's walk the sandwich out to you and tell you to have a good day today this Larry's is the worst of all that I have ever been to and what's sad it is only like 1 mi away from my home

Please if you're looking for a good sandwich and no cross contamination. In pleasant greetings and transactions, please look elsewhere This is not a good place to go because it seems like they do not know how to cut up onions. They overload your sandwich with large giant pieces of onion. They're always out of things in the two young ladies that's working there today. They seem to have some kind of attitude issue where if they do not want to serve people then they should get out of customer service. The food industry is not for them

Today is August 16th 2024. I went in to get a sandwich. The lady was on her cell phone and she immediately put her cell phone down and touched the gloves that she was going to use to fix my sandwich. This is the same cell phone that she probably takes in the bathroom with her. She probably has stuck in her back pocket rubbing on her butt the same cell phone that she sits on every surface around the restaurant and around her home and she had her bare hands on it. She did not wash her hands. She immediately put the phone down and touched the gloves and was about to make my...

I'm not sure what happened to this location in the evening time, but it's gone way down hill!

My other half and I are truck drivers; we used to visit this location on a weekly basis four years ago, when we had a dedicated run along i95.

We were finally able to stop by this evening at 7 pm. ** I was very excited to eat here again.

When we arrived, there were three teenagers ( 2 guys and 1 female), just standing around. They had already put the chairs up and cleaned up for closing purposes; 2 hours before closure!!

I'm not trying to be rude but one of the kids ( the younger male), couldn't understand or answer my questions..He just kept saying huh..over and over again...like he just finished sniffing a jug of glue. When we walked in, I asked, "Are you guys open?" His response..I guess?? He didn't look happy to see any customers.

Now my sandwich, My sandwich was put together in a sloppy fashion ( messy) on stale bread that wasn't toasted. Not at all how the sandwiches used to be made. I ordered just a ham and Swiss.

Whoever owns this store needs to either fire all three or hire a real adult in the evening time. If they are related to you, they aren't doing you any favors!!

The meat was too cold, stale bread; and put together in a sloppy/messy fashion. They didn't even freshly slice the meat like they used to. It was just lying in a metal container ...both the meat and cheese. It literally took them two minutes to prepare my sandwich..which makes sense, if you rush everything together on cold stale bread

I will not be going out of my way to visit this location ever again... we used to come here all the time and recommend you to other drivers. Now we will recommend other drivers to keep driving down i95, past your location.!

I recommend visiting a different location. No wonder why it was...

First (and last!) visit to a Larry’s Giant Subs and it was a disappointment! They were out of almost half the menu. No capicola, no pepperoni, no pickles, no soups, no carrots, no peanut butter and jelly, no salami. Like what kind of sandwich business is being run here? We asked if they could make a grilled cheese since they had no pb&j and they literally gave our child cold bread with cold cheese slices. My mom asked for a veggie sandwich, and they put only lettuce, olives, and onions on it and piled on jalapeños. The veggie sub is advertised with atleast five or six vegetables with cheese (no jalapeños) and it was like they just threw whatever they could on it without even cheese and decided to put tons of jalapeños so it wouldn’t look empty. My husband ordered one of their ‘hot’ subs and it was given to him cold. Disappointed all around. The kitchen area was absolutely filthy. Food was covering the floor with overflowing trash cans. Bathroom was disgusting so we walked to Winn Dixie to use theirs. If you’re like us and passing through the area and come across this place looking for a quick bite, keep going and find...
