Lil Peach Cobblers Soul Food Cafe — Restaurant in Georgia

THE BEST RESTAURANT I HAVE BEEN TO THIS YEAR; HANDS DOWN!!!!!!! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. It was definitely a cafe atmosphere with the smooth and easy listening jazz!! The vibe was SUPERB! It was clean and NEAT and you can tell the owner put thought into the decorating of the cafe. It was comfortable, colorful and well put together. It wasn't over the top but just right! The service was EXCELLENT!!!! It did my heart good as we were served by 3 young ladies and they were respectful, courteous, prompt, and attentive! Once we ordered we were served our food at the table. Thankfully they were allowing patrons to eat in. They brought our meal to us and condiments. Then we were hit with the food!!! 😳😳😳😳 IT WAS PERFECTLY SEASONED AND THE PRESENTATION WAS DELIGHTFUL!!!!! I cannot stand when my food is thrown together but my plate was neat and not messy!!!!! I didn't have to add ANYTHING to it; no hot sauce or salt or pepper! The flavorings were MOUTH WATERING!!! The turkey wings were falling off the bone tender; the rice was well seasoned and the collards and cabbage was DA BOMB!!!! I don't even like peach cobbler but theirs was DELICIOUS!!!! To start the restaurant is beautiful & clean. The young ladies up front were very welcoming. The young lady upfront promptly notified me that they were out of Sweet Potatoes. I said okay since it was about 45 mins till closing even though I wanted Mac & Sweet Potatoes. I ordered the Smothered Turkey Wing with Mac & Greens. There was so much gravy over my rice & wing you couldn't taste the rice. Flavor was good wing tender. The Mac was decent perfer to eat it with my Sweet Potatoes though. The greens tasted as if they used the same seasoning in the gravy in the Greens as well causing them both to taste over seasoned. There was a Cornbread muffin wrapped in foil in the bag & from transportation with my other food, it crumbled to pieces in the bag but tasted good. I asked about the desserts in the fridge, the young lady read out all 3 desserts available only mentioning it was Banana Pudding. Upon eating I noticed it had Cheesecake filling on the top of the Banana Pudding, I was under the impression it was Meriguine upon purchase. The Banana Pudding was delicious as well as the Cheesecake topping but it was too thick & not what I wanted. Overall I will come back & try them again (ask for light gravy) hopefully my experience will be better...

This was my first time visiting this establishment. My mother had a random craving for Peach cobbler and wanted me to find a shane's rib shack because that is the last place she remembered having a really good one...I wasn't going for it...I told her she has better googled some place closer for us to try. She tried to insist on going to shane's but relied on Google. Doing so landed me at this beautiful and quaint establishment that is ducked off on Mount Zion Rd that I must have passed a thousand times. Well this time I didn't pass it, we called in placed an order for two peach cobblers and two peach cobbler cheesecakes in a jar and a side of smothered pork chops that was ready within 15 minutes. We even received a call back to let us know that our food was ready and could come pick up at our earliest convenience. I was floored, from the great customer service to the amazing tasting food has resulted in me planning to actually return tomorrow April 2nd, in hopes to have the same experience to share with my aunt.... Having a business is hard having a black-owned business is even harder, so thank you Queen for creating such a beautiful establishment and vetting out great workers who have been trained to provide amazing...
