Just so the reader understands, I have worked in Customer Service my entire work life, starting at Kroger for 4 years, Dairy Queen for 1, a dive for 6 months as a manager, and moved on to a restaurant for a year as a Front End Manager.
I have been visiting this McD's for a year now, and literally 75% of the time there is a problem.
I understand that people make mistakes, and that they're busy, but it is at the least busy of times that this location makes ridiculously lazy and careless mistakes, like forgetting to put a french fry and apple juice in the bag, or letting that same order sit on the front counter for 3 minutes before notifying me that my order was sitting there waiting, bag open, letting all the heat out.
I've ordered a Big Mac with extra lettuce, and lite sauce over 5 times, and they cannot understand. To them it is lite lettuce, extra sauce. Over 5 times this has happened.
Everytime I order extra pickles on a burger, they come stacked on top of each other. No care is given about the product they make, and the customers see that when they eat it.
I've asked for fresh McNuggets, because they become disgusting when they sit for more than 5 minutes, and after placing my order asking, "I said fresh right? I just wanna be sure", then 2 minutes later my "fresh" order is ready. I've asked, "Wow, that was fast. Are these fresh?", and the reply was, "They just came up", accompanied with a look of misery and annoyance that I would dare ask such a thing.
Went to the car with 2 year old, open the nugget box, and what do you know?
Stale, dry, and cold.
I tried another nugget to be sure.
The same.
At this point I'm trying to calm down cause now I feel lied to, just to get me out of their fine establishment.
I went through the drive-thru, and explained to the gentleman over the speaker.
And this is a point I want to make clear; not all of the employee could careless about their job.
The guy at the speaker took great care of me, ensured that they were fresh nuggets, brought them to my car, and waited for me to try one, just to correct the mistake.
That is the kind of customer service that management should be enforcing their employees to follow.
Why do I keep going back you...
Read moreThe Staff is Very RUDE and Hateful Lazy. They Refused to take mine and my wife's order, we were told to "Use the kiosk if we could read!" This was by an older Black women in training. We were just there because our son and grandson wanted to stop there. Our son is an EMT, my wife is a Nurse Practitioner and holds 2 Masters degrees. I am an Electronics Engineer so we are by no means illiterate and none of use were dressed shabbily . The staff was very Racist. My wife went back up to the counter to get a McFlurry for our grandson, the Black woman in training made the wrong flavor when she tried handing it to my wife, my wife told her it was not the right flavor she looked at my wife and told my wife that she was a Liar! A gentleman behind us told another staffer that my wife was not lying and had ordered the Oreo Flavor as she had stated. The older Black women then told the gentleman behind us he should mind his business and he should not be taking up for us anyway since he was Black! then the women comes back out with the cup of Ice Cream holding it up against her body stirring it with a spoon. My wife spoke up and told her that was not sanitary, at that point the older women in training again started calling my wife a liar. While we were waiting on our order a black couple came in the older black women fell all over herself going instantly to the counter to take their order. Next a Hispanic couple came in and another trainee who happened to be Hispanic fell all over herself to get to the counter to take their order. The black couples order was filled several minutes before ours was. This was improper treatment of customers. When we got our order my wife politely said something about our shabby treatment she was told if we didn't like it we could go eat somewhere else! We will take her suggestion, and would recommend anyone else thinking of patronizing this store to definitely Go To Another Restaurant!! BTW my wife and I are of Native American Heritage, surely this didn't trigger...
Read moreIf you read any of the reviews, the majority of issues seem to take place on the later shift... Seems like a trend. Maybe a bad one. Anyways. I ordered through the app and the only pickup option was curbside. After sitting outside for 15 minutes, some little gremlin, through their cloud of pungent cigarette smoke that was blown in my face, tells me that they don't do curbside after a certain hour. I informed them that it was the only option available in the app. That comment was met with "well I'm the shift manager and I'm telling you we don't" like... Wow... I wasn't arguing. Just letting you know that it was offered in your app. Anywho... I go inside and explain to 3 different people that I'm just picking up my order. Then, they all felt the need to repeat what their "manager" told me just a minute before. So I asked for my food. Got it. Great, now for my drinks... I asked for them and the employee that was STANDING IN FRINT OF ME WITH HER ARMS CROSSED says "I'm getting them"... No, you're not. You're standing here telling me, again, about the curbside thing. That isn't getting my drink. So again, and again, and again, "can I have my drinks please?" Yeah, she's getting them. Then, I was given a lesson in etiquette by someone who probably would have burst into flames upon crossing the threshold at a charm school. I was told I would be getting a refund. I informed the shift gremlin that I wasn't interested in getting a refund and that I just wanted my drinks! I was informed that I wouldn't be getting anything now and told to leave. Police were mentioned... It was a...
