I order from this location about 5 times a week and spend a good amount of money there. Usually I use the drive thru and some of the employees know me by my order. No problems and its all good. This Morning I thought I'd use the app and pulled up to a stall at 6:52am. I waited until I saw everyone in the drive thru get their order and leave. I then sent my son in to inquire about my order and he was told it would be out in two minutes. We then waited until 7:11 and I went in for my order. As I approached the counter, the cashier asked if he could help me and I stated that I was in stall 1 and had been waiting more than 15 minutes. He walked over to another employee and she looked up on the screen (obviously seeing my order) and then asking Deonte(another worker) what happened to my order. He stated something that I couldn't hear and BEGAN to make my drink to add to the bag that had BEEN sitting there without another word. He finished preparing my drink (which was only 3/4 filled even with the whipped cream) sat it on the counter and walked away. I was waiting on a sorry about that or any acknowledgement and got none! As I was there felt the anger rise but I stayed cordial and tried to take down names to contact someone about this and I noticed no one had name tags on nor were they going to come back to the counter so that I could ask for contact info for the managers. I went outside and approached an older man with a McDonalds jacket on and a leaf blower. I asked him what was the name of his manager he replied that he didn't know. I then asked him what was his name and he stated he didn't know. Now I'm mad cause what should have been a simple exchange is now insulting. I then decided to pull around to the drive thru and ask what the managers name was and he stated Deonte. I asked what was the district managers name he stated Shanika. No last names and about as arrogant( with a smirk) as he pleased. I know this is way too long a review. But I have to share. The whole incident went from anger to sadness. I am angry that there was a lack of care and accountability. I am sad that our communities have such a shortage of kindness and no concept of customer service (even though I spend there daily). I am sure my encounter and this review will not get a response nor will it change anything which is why Deonte arrogantly gave his name. I am not the type to complain if I'm not going to offer a solution. My solution: everyone on that shift today needs proper customer service training. I am willing to even take a day and come in as a guest speaker on the subject if someone would like. Unless someone cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to change no it's not. I am done spending there. I will just get my food and drink at Starbucks. I'd gladly pay more for the respect. Be blessed and may our communities...
Read moreI honestly don’t know how these FF places stay in business. I started out working at Wendy’s 40 years ago and boy have things changed. 🤦🏽 I was trained to be courteous to the customer and never argue with them because retaining customers is the number one advertisement. The way these people in these fast food restaurants are today is outrageous. My New Year’s resolution is to not patronize fast food restaurants because I’m tired of the poor customer service, poor quality of the food, and most of all, outrageously high prices they are today. Seems like the service and the quality of the food have gone down and the only thing that’s gone up are the prices. And today I went to this McDonald’s because I needed some mayo packets for a sandwich I purchased from a store and I had forgotten to get some. The little girl, cause she’s not a woman, actually said to me, “Why are you yelling?” I did not even know she was talking to me and I literally looked around and said, Are you talking to me? And she said, “Yeah, why are you talking so loud?” I said excuse me this is how I talk. And I have a low tone voice so I don’t know what you’re talking about. She said, “Oh OK.” When I left, I said you need to learn some manners. And of course this non-home training girl said, you too and rolled her eyes. Couldn’t have been any more than 17 or 18 years old. I don’t know how people are raising their kids today, but this is something that I experienced at a lot of fast food restaurants which is why I’m glad I made the decision to not patronize these places because the only thing that was beneficial with fast food is that it was quick, good, and cheap. Those 3 benefits no longer exist. And this just reaffirms my decision to not patronize any fast food restaurants EVER unless they do a major overhaul, which I...
Read moreI I have a dairy allergy and they still put cheese on my burger!
I went through the drive-through line and I specifically stated that I have a dairy allergy and I would like to have a quarter pounder with no cheese at all! The attendant that took my order was very nice and she seem to take it very seriously she even went back to the kitchen to check to see if they bought her the bun and she said no they don’t. I went through the drive-through and paid for my order that I was asked to pull forward without an exclamation or any kind of estimate of how long I will be in this parking lot waiting for my food. We waited over 20 minutes the food finally arrived and then we drove off. Once I looked in my burger it was labeled as no cheese on the top, and I went to take a bite, then I thought let me look and sure enough there was a piece of cheese at the bottom!!! This is a serious allergy I can’t scrape the cheese off and eat it and I already drove off and I was starving so I couldn’t eat my food and I couldn’t even go back to get my money back because I was already left the premises and I had waited for my food for over 28 minutes at that point I was ready to go! I don’t think these people take allergy seriously I think the staff is doing the best they can but I don’t think this is a place I would trust if you have any kind of allergy at all! They could...
