My order was so expensive 😳😳😳 (I don’t mind patronizing a Black-Owned Business) because it is mandatory to support your own community, always 🤎🤎✊🏾✊🏾…... But my lambchops were very small, & my portions were a bit too small as well. So, those are the cons.

This was my second time trying them out. The first time, I ordered inside the Metro’s Restaurant; the customer service was impeccable & welcoming. I ordered a Shrimp Platter (served with yellow rice, mac n cheese, & broccoli. The man suggested the “Hennessey Flavor”… Which was awful; & maybe because I am not a fan of alcohol. Soooooooo, I was pretty disappointed ☹️ I was trying something new: so I don’t mind that it didn’t turn out that well.

Now for the pros; my most recent order overall was delicious despite the portions being way too small. I paid almost $90 for this; so that was a lot just for this. And the delivery fee/service fees were pretty high (which is insane because I live like 4 minutes away) … But maybe thats the app’s fault, idk 🤷🏾‍♀️ But the food was good, so I was still happy.

The taste of their food was amazing; which beats anything else. I would definitely like to order again. Maybe I’ll drive there again to avoid unnecessary charges, but besides that; I will be back. I appreciated it & would definitely eat here again. Next time, add a little more rice, vegetables, & mac on my plate though 😂😂😂 lol, forreal!

I Came Across This Place Of Business Via A Food Review On Social Media. I Was Immediately Intrigued. I Started To Follow Metro West On IG. Unfortunately My Schedule Never Aligned With Their Hours Of Operations. Well Today, I Finally Got A Chance To Patron Their Business. When I Tell Youuuu, They DID NOT Disappoint!!! I Ordered The French Toast Sandwich .& Babyyy, Hear Me Out. You HAVE To Try It. Something So Simple Was So Delicious. I Also Had The Creamy Cheddar Grits .& Breakfast Potatoes. Which Is Shocking Because I’m Not A Fan Of Breakfast Potatoes (Hash Brown, Potatoes, Etc.)… But They We’re Bomb Asf’ Mixed With The Grits! What Got Me The Most Was The Little Lady Who Took My Order (Miss Denver)! For Such A Young Age, Her Hospitality Is Like Nothing Else. She’s So Sweet .& Well Mannered! She Engaged In Conversation With Me The Whole Time I Was There Eating. And I Thoroughly Enjoyed Her. The Mrs’s Was Also So Nice .& Down To Earth. I Say ALL That To Say, Please Stop By .& Try Them Out. 10’s All Across The Board. You Definitely WON’T Be Disappointed. I’m Actually Going Back So I Can Try The Dinner Side...

On my saturday afternoon I chose to drive 20 minutes from the city out to College Park to patronize the establishment after seeing it on social media. When I walked in I was very disappointed to hear that they only had collard greens fried and onion rings as a side. No mac and cheese! No sweet potato soufflé ? 2 of the things you advertise the most? This early in the day! Blowed. I still got a 2 piece whiting and a salmon over rice.

Well, after shaking off the initial disappointment I got to the food.

The whiting was fried and seasoned well and there was a great portion. There was an abundance of tasty crinkle fries. A little too crunchy but it was good.

The assuming baked salmon was very good. The salmon was cooked to perfection and not overcooked. The glaze was good as well. The yellow rice was also seasoned and cooked well although it could have been a tad more tender. The greens were super tender and seasoned well. The food and the customer service saved the day and stopped me from saying 1 and done.
